We have a neighbor across the street that drove her car into the garage and that night as she was sleeping her car caught on fire, she made it out okay, but, man, she couldn't live in her house for a very long time! I'll definitely get it in the shop soon! Glad your friend made it out ok! Luckily my truck can't fit in my garage, but, it would still catch the outside of the house on fire from the driveway.

I’m not near it to double check, but I’ve looked before and I think it was 11/21. It was still in the shipping plastic when I spotted it and bought it the first week of December in 2021.
Having the truck re-purchased by Ram via lemon law is probably a wise choice. That truck will never be right emissions wise. I hope you are following PD Diesel Power and the issues he is having with 2022s. I tried buying a 2021 HO Ram. That year seems to be the best of the 5th gens so far but I'm glad I bought a low mile 4th gen SO Ram 3500 instead. I get the impression you don't really need the diesel. Now is the time to get out. After dumping a 6.7 Ford with exhaust, turbo and DPF issues I really wanted to go back to gas but couldn't because of my 5th wheel trailer. If you want a capable and reliable truck look into a 2020+ 7.3 gas Ford. I'm sure you've done plenty of research on those by now.
You’re right, I don’t need a diesel. I just needed a tax write off and there wasn’t much else available and it’s a sweet truck. But all these little issues make me realize maybe I don’t want to have it once it’s out of warranty. Getting out now is better than later. I fortunately I think I’ll have to get out of it and into that sequoia for my wife, I’m in real estate so with my income dropping with the market slowing, can’t afford that for her and a truck 😕 although I’ll look around for some clean old truck I can fix up a bit just for hunting and stuff, and we’d use the sequoia for family camping.
@@gavinwalker5686 Gale Banks has a tear down video showing the difference between last years L5P, and the 2024 L5P. Big differences. Mainly big improvements in the most recent L5P. He also has 13 videos on ‘blowing up a Duramax’. Definitely worth your time. He designed the Duramax for the new vehicle that is replacing the H1’s for the army and other branches of the military. Hope you find something you like.

Well if I ever head up to the Pacific Northwest I’ll let you know for sure! I’d sure hope no fire would happen! Although while driving would be better than parked in my driveway. Otherwise it would catch my house on fire and that would be worse!
I had the same issue with the light...it said left turn signal light out but it was the light at the back of the cab...the mirror would blind fast as well but wasn't the issue
We are next in line for a 2023 Sequoia TRD Pro in Solar Octane. I think I'll have to trade my truck in to get it, real estate slowed too much to afford both. That is my wife's car, I wish I could have a truck too because they are so dang useful, but I'll have to get one later. I'll probably get a used 6 seater Tundra when that time comes.
I'm sure I'll have some issues with the sequoia to be honest. First model year. But, the wife set her eyes on that before I bought my truck (we would have bought that for her had it been available.) But I haven't been upset that production is moving so slowly on those, because I know they are working out tons of kinks which is great.
@@gavinwalker5686. Take a look at the rear cargo room on the new Sequoia. Beautiful truck but the way the 3rd row folds it leaves less than decent room in the back.
i have a 21 ram 2500 6.4 hemi 4.10 gears , i had 2 recalls one for the tailgate latch and 1 for the stability control flash update other than that no issues on my ram
Check the YT channel PD Diesel Power. He’s got a fleet of Ram’s. Bought several 2022’s all but 1 had issues. 2022 seems to be a part shortage year, who knows what got substituted to get the trucks shipped.
