3:06 "How did X become a powerhouse?" is a Korean meme that is used as a jinx. It appeared when an article with that same title was written about a baseball team that was having a good early season, and then flopped immediately after the article was released.
@@wilsonlee4658it was less of a doubt, but more of not letting up until it is really over. 2022 finals T1 thought they had the cup secured because it was "only" DRX and it costed them all their hard work. They weren't going to let it happen again
I'm happy Faker got to win another trophy before all the big changes in summomers rift. Even a player like Faker will now have to start learning things from scratch. Im excited to see how T1 will perform in 2024
This is not even the final yet, Riot is cooking up something big for League in 2025. Some Riot employee mentioned that the current changes for the game are just 'temporary' and they don't have any long-term goal.
I beg to differ. Its quite the opposite. Faker learns things incredibly quickly and I wouldnt be surprised if he were to adjust much faster than others. League rarely changed so other players were bound to catch up to all he has learned thus far, but now they are all starting from scratch and I have no doubts that Faker will be one of the fastest to adjust.
Even when Zeus Atrox didn’t die and they won the fight. Noone jumped out of the chair, noone was screaming, not until the Nexus had fallen. I love this team’s mentality. Fucking deserved it!
After last year where they celebrated after winning game 4, i think they learned their lesson. Compared to now they look much more disciplined and they likely didn't underestimate Weibo in preparation either
It's underrated how good faker is in different mid lane style, he can play control mage, initiate fight, melee, range dps for split push, assassin. Other than must know how to play that champ, must know lane matchup, must know power spike, must adapt rhythm/turn, must visualize the comp teamfight, ... Just look at how some other mid laners tend to stick to one favorite type playstyle that they're good at, case in point, closer, zeka (melee/asassin), bdd , showmaker (mage)... Of course all roles also have multiple playstyle, but i feel like mid lane has the most complex variety.
in Crisp's defense, he was the one that fired the bard ult first, the other two activated their teamfight ults as the tempered fate was about to land on them; seems like it was just bad shotcalling
@@prefixsuffix3478there's no defense for crisp, his bard was horrible, if you want to save your teammates you have to ult them before they take damage, his ult was too late and just killed the shy, i recommend watching feviknight video reviewing this game
My brain has always wondered what would’ve happened if they switched the bracket and JDG was to face NRG and WBG faced KT. Would we have had a JDG vs T1 final?
It's not even the matter of which bracket they are in. The question was wether JDG can adapt to the meta no matter what bracket. Plus on paper they are already lucky enough to draw KT/T1/LNG. Teams that struggle on JDG.
T1 ruled the meta since quarter it doesnt matter much which team they will face at the end the main point is how other teams would out perfom t1 in their kingdom and no one did because it was in fact impossible
@@abouttime2569 the series just reminds me of 2019 FPX vs iG in the semis. Both series were the real finals Edit: somehow I genuinely forgot about SKT vs ROX in 2016
Part of me thinks Faker is baiting his own teammates @15:48 That little smirk right after he says it as literally every other T1 member immediately saying variations of "it's not over; keep pressing". It's like he knows they are gonna say it but wants to make sure.
No, he said in an interview that he said that because Zeus was giga-carrying fights. He thought it was boring because he didn't have to do much to win, not because he thinks the series is over.
The fact that they still talk about laning phase right after winning worlds ,you know they truly live for this game ,i would assume after winning the most important trophy they would talk about anything else tbh .
It's so funny that at the end of the second game, it's the young ones that remind Faker to not let his guard down when he said "This is no fun." I mean yes, it's not fun to win so easily, but now I understand why they throw leads a lot, both in game and the series overall (having 2-0 leads go to silver scrapes), they probably listen to Faker when he says to have a bit more fun. Although, it's not all Faker, because even the young guns sometimes decide on their own to have fun themselves. It's glad to see that for the most important series of their lives, they decided to be dead serious.
Hey Caedrel Clips can you pls make the chat bigger if possible? I cant speak for everyone who watches these vids, but for me I'm here to see chat's reactions not Caedrels xDD
Is from his fanclub i think or some sponsors, he have the tiger one because of the icon he choose for the stream and i think Zeus also have one but i don't remember what it was, maybe it was a lightning bolt (?)
