Things are really heating up around here. My contractor surprised me with a new structure on the property! Just in the nick of time too! And putting my last grocery haul to good use, I share a recipe for Pralines & Cream No Churn Ice Cream! And the least I can do to say thanks to my friends who sent me some gifts recently, is to invite you to check out their channels. Want to support? CLICK HERE to see all the ways you can! Pralines & Cream Ice Cream
1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream - should be really cold, but not frozen
1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
3/4 Cup +/_ Crushed Pralines
2 Tbs Melted Butter (Let cool to room temperature)
1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. For best results, place your mixing bowl in the freezer for an hour before use. This will ensure that your cold cream stays cold and whips up nicely. If mixing by hand, try placing your frozen mixing bowl in a larger container of ice while whipping the cream.
Once your cream is whipped, gently fold in the contents of the can of sweetened condensed milk, making sure to avoid a stirring motion. Stirring will cause the whipped cream to deflate. It is the incorporation of the air in the whipped cream that helps to give this a true ice cream texture and avoid being too dense.
Next add the vanilla to the melted butter and pour this and the crushed pralines into the mixture. Gently fold all ingredients until combined. Cover and place in the freezer until firm. Then enjoy!
