Ross's Gold Medal was taken away after they found he tested positive for THC...it was given back and now he's a multi-millionaire marijuana businessman!
A banned substance, that could have gotten us arrested (and got me arrested and charged and behind bars back in the early 2000s)... Is now an essential service.
I know Conan so well that the second he said the confident quote and put on the goggles the real snowboarder was about to do some tricks. Such a legend.
"Don't make me dial you up dude. This is the number you don't want to be connected to" Hahaha sound so bogan but yet so funny. LOL Now I want to watch Point Break when Red Hot Chilli Peppers talk like that to Johnny Utah
Blake Johnson eventhough skateboarding and snowboarding are very different, if you have experience in skating it can help you learn it more quickly. After 30 minutes on a snowboard for the first time i got the hang of it and progressed more and more. I did fall alot tho offcourse
It's funny that he complains about the guy who made the sticker because I'm positive Conan drew that himself. It looks like his art style, he's a really talented artist.
I used to be a snowboard instructor, and this is painful to watch. He's trying to get a first timer to link turns before he's experienced either a stable heal or toe side slide. You gotta isolate them shits! Then linking turns kind of just happens. Best Job Ever. To his credit, it'd be hard to teach someone who needs to get laughs to justify the bit. Not impossible, but definitely a different dynamic. CONAN, I COULD TEACH YOU AND YOUR PROGENY ALL THINGS SNOW. Is that weird to say?
I'm too lazy to look this guys' specific name up but is the Gold medalist Canadian!? I feel like US had this time in between 95 and 09-10 (very specific) where they wanted to integrate Canadians as American citizens so they just casually put Canadians in non-star roles around Americans just to get used to the associate. Kinda strange and it's not Conan's fault but why does he not mention right after saying gold medalist that he's from Canada..
He's a pretty well known Canadian olympian (although to be honest part of the reason he's well known is because of a 'scandal' involving marijuana). He does have a giant Canada flag on his t shirt too.
The part where they are chilling in the snow lookin skyward and philosophing about stuff is basically the same bit Colbert does nowadays with his guests.
It's entertaining to me at least that every time he's interviewed on Colbert he just completely takes over his show with minimal effort. I am a fan of Colbert though, but his biggest strength is his monologues.
