I get the throttle and the electric steering rack, but the shifter properly blew my mind. I assume it's an automatic for simplicity's sake with a manual knob and boot for aesthetics.
@@BjornHarmsRC I just struggle to understand how you get the zero position from the electric power steering, since to my best understanding it's just a BLDC motor with no servo. And if you have an external servo, for positioning, do you need to disconnect it to drive the car as normal?
@@BjornHarmsRC The reason I am wondering is I am building a go kart for my kid and I want to have the ability to both drive it and control it remotely. Since it's electric, driving the wheels is trivial enough as is braking, but the steering is completely confounding me.
@@jamesjoyce4356 Haha...for sure! I actually had a idea of a burnout (jacking up the car a bit) but my customer did not wanted it :) He was afraid that something would break. But the Knightrider 180 reverse looked great! (check out my other clips)
