Sometimes, you have an amazing image. It looks wonderful: the colour is great, the contrast is great. But, when you put the image on a colourful background, its square outline can easily be seen. As you can imagine, this is not the most attractive thing in the world. Therefore, I have made this video to show you how to remove a background from an image, using Microsoft Word 2007.

If your remove background is not coming on your PC, please double click on the picture and go with Set transparent color by Recolor option from your left side bottom.

Hey you're going to have to update your Word :/ That's the easiest solution I can think of. Alternatively, try using a software like Gimp 2. It has a magic wand feature (tutorials on RU-vid) which also remove your background just as well :) Let me know if this helps please?

Sorry but you make the most basic faults when trying to teach. You forget that beginners tend to move from object to object slowly and purposefully when not being at home in a new environment. As you already know how and where to move around on the screen you skip between buttons and objects waaaay to fast. And also you don't stop to describe the different places you click and why in the right - slow - pace. A very common mistake among non-teachers.

Hey Dracopticon, you make a very valid point. So I think that the best thing to do, since I can't change the video, is to play the video at a slower or faster pace as you need: use the gear icon in the bottom right, and select playback speed. This enables you to slow down the tutorial to your liking! Hope this helps, and thank you for the feedback! I shall use a highlighted cursor next time!

@@KaamilNaicker Thank you Kaamil-Inaam for that nice reply. I didn't mean to sound so condescending, which I saw now that I had a better look at what I had written. I am confident you'll have a better pace in the next vid! Everybody grows with experience and you are undoubtedly much better that some things that I am bad at. We are all like that, good at different things. My criticism came from years as a teacher. Thanks!

Either way, I make these videos to help people overcome their technology speedbumps, so your feedback is exactly what I need!
