Love how your actually taking the time, and teaching the people working with you. I've had bosses that scream and cuss when you don't know something. Great job!!

Good Morning Alex! Thanks for sharing!! One quick note. When working under an old car and using Milwaukee nut drivers or ratchets etc, Get on some safety glasses please. Ask he how I know. $2,000 in medical co-pays for dirt and rust shards stuck in my eye ball.

Looks like you have the Mustang under control. From what I've seen, you need more assistance with the truck. Lol

Alf, I’m in Ireland and I have no guru to consult. Maybe you or another subscriber can help me. Started the 289 mustang today. Let here run for a while. Later tried a restart, struggled to start but did. As I was curious why this was happening I tried another restart. Now I have nothing, no power in the car whatsoever. Lights, horn, cabin lights, nothing. Battery is fully charged and all connections seem good. What did happen one time was after I had switched off the ignition, the starter motor gave a few more slow turns. 😢 Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well, this might be difficult to figure out from here, but I'll tell ya where my mind is going. If you shut the key off and the starter engages, you may have an ignition switch that is shirting out. You may also have other issues but I would naturally go to the ignition switch. Now as far as not having any power anywhere and the battery is fully charged. I would be checking the grounds. Check the negative battery cable where it grounds to the block. Also check the firewall ground where it grounds to the engine. I hope that helps. These things can be overwhelming at times.

@@AlfsMustangGarage Thank you so much for your reply and your time. I went through all of your suggestions and everything was fine. I’m embarrassed to say it was a culmination of the car not been driven for a long time, a battery finished off by bad frost and a stuck starter solenoid. Thanks again for taking time to reply, I really enjoy your channel and always look forward to new content. Peace. Declan.
