I just discovered your videos yesterday and I love them! They are so funny and imaginative with your intros etc and I love what you do and can't wait to see more. You are both very likeable and talented including with video production. Newest fan from Australia,
I don’t know if you are in Jersey but a LOT of homes out there have weird layouts that doesn’t make sense. It’s hard for my family having to leave Brooklyn and to find a home the flows right for living. I wish you both were closer because this is the kind of advice and eye we need! Glad I found this channel.
I see this channel growing and reaching a million subscribers in the next 2 years maybe easily 👍 keep up the good work grind hard i wanna see u cool people win !
That’s was the second time I saw you put one of those 1950s Youngstown kitchen cabinets in the dumpster. Those are worth a few grand plus restored. Put those aside along with the mantles! I know it’s easy to comment from the sidelines. You guys are truly amazing. Totally impressed by all your remodels!
Believe it or not Those are actually pretty common around here and don’t sell for much, so We always give away the tops but most of the metal cabinet boxes we’ve come across are rusted beyond repair.
The wall heater at 1:29 when you all are throwing debris at each other, that is worth some money (as long as you can make it work, again rewiring...usually these will work) that cast iron sink with drainboard...worth some money. If you don't like it, someone else will. You're throwing money in the trash. There are MCM Facebook pages you can take pictures and list it. If you can do PayPal, Skrill, GooglePay...whatever, you could bring down the cost to what you're spending.
I'm so glad I found yall! I have been making designs, measuring, second guessing myself on something hoping it would work. I'm super blessed to have a business that will help me supply almost every for my kitchen and bathroom remodels. On your last video when you said $7,000 for cabinets 😯 and I have been thinking about counter tops (I know the colors I want) but when you said concrete, I have heard of it, but wow it's absolutely stunning and a money saver! Definitely going to use your code! Not sure where yall are located but if ever in Alabama hit me up. Promise I can save you so much money on anything to do with remodeling pretty much. Best of luck to yall!!!
Love your videos something about you guys a fresh look, funny, not faking it? I don't know but keep doing what your doing We will be watching you on your WTF EXCELLENT ADVENTURES. Good Luck.
Are there any extra precautions you need to take to protect yourself and/or the environment/immediate surrounding area against lead-based paint and/or asbestos since the house is so old? Another great vid. Looking forward to watching this house come together throughout the process!
We always test for hazardous materials. In the case of a hazardous material being present you should have professionals remove it. However this house was clear to go. An extra step we do take to help keep the dust down is placing fans in near the windows to remove the dust and we place 3 filters in the window to filter the dust before the air goes outside.
How long did this take you? And if you two do this full time? I'm thinking of getting my own project, but I can't see how I would spend time with my family if I work full time and flip houses on top of that
We had to wait a little bit for the asbestos tests to come back but besides that we got it completed in a couple of weekends (we don’t flip full time either)
If we were renovating this house for ourselves I’m confident in identifying load bearing walls and removing as needed. Since we are renovating this to sell we want to make sure it is done correctly/safely/legally for the person who buys this home. Please check your local codes and regulations.
