Remy Shand is unusual because he ACTUALLY HAS TALENT!!!! I love this song and he is sorely missed! His live performances are phenomenal. Can I get a thumbs up somebody?
Some of the most talented artists never come to get the props they deserve. Their music will always remain appreciated by those of us with a discerning ear.
Omg! 🎯! Best comment award! I echo your words. He is severely underrated. I love this song. The music has changed. The real music does not get exposure. Smdh. I'm still listening to Remy in 2023 and forever. ❤🎉
2022 and STILL love this song 🎵 I remember when this song first came out and loved it then too. Soooo much talent❤️❤️ The last person to actually play all the instruments, write all the songs and produce and album of this quality is “His Royal Badness”, Prince. Remy Shand is definitely in this category and was ahead of his time. Shame he did not get the recognition that he deserved ❤️
I used to listen to this song as a teenager and today 15 years later I still feel the same about it, I felt in love again this guy is sooo underrated !!!!! His voice is giving me butterflies!
Remy was ahead of his time. I remember when this dropped. Neo soul had faded at this point. Nobody was happy with any of the genre's of music at that time. But NOW!! HOLY CRAP was he a genius...
not true! Both Their first album's came out in 2002. And Robin Thicke sounds like he does today pretty much. I just think both of them were influenced by black soul music.
False!! Robin Thicke (known as "Thicke" back then), was already in the music business and writing songs for artist years before Remy Shand came out. They both released their first album the same year. Robin Thicke has evolved, but his style never really changed. He has always been considered "blue eyed soul". So I don't understand how one could think he stole his style. I love Remy Shand though.
Remy had a Twitter page as of last year and he was living in Canada. He would post clips of himself playing several different instruments. He was very interactive with his followers, including me. Then without warning he deleted his page. I hope he's ok and I wish him the best.
I remember where I was the first time I heard this song. Late night driving the city of Chicago. Great riding music. Still fall in love whenever I hear it.
I remember being like 8 or 9 riding in the back seat while my Dad played this. It's funny cause as a kid, I always thought he was saying "cried in your sleep".... good times lol
This guy shoulda been rich and famous! They shoulda accepted him in r&b and soul just like they accepted Eminem in rap and hip-hop. Real Talk! Pure Talent Remy. 💯
The fact that I was 12 years old watching this on BET's Midnight love and loving it shows you the old soul I have but also the ear for great music. Can't believe this came out 21 years ago. time waits for nobody lol
This guy is so talented! I was looking through my CD collection and found this CD. I had forgotten how fabulous he was. Nice steppin' cut, don't ya think?
This is STILL the ish!!! He was hot from this song and then just vanished. This whole CD is the bomb, dope, funky fresh .... whatever the word, this NEEDS to be in your collection. I see 3 people didn't get the message .... pity .....
This song just totally kills it. That bass is amazing. The old school performers who really know music must surely give this artist with the silky smooth voice his well-deserved props.
mymangodfrey1 The question is why aren't artist like this are famous in general...simple, its the age of manicanism-the need to do what everyone else is doing.
I remember this one from years ago, first saw it on VH-1 and I was hooked rom then on, Im so glad that Remy has some new songs out and they are fantastic. Hope he will do a lot more. Im still listening to The Way I Feel that was a great CD. GLAD THAT REMY IS BACK.
I found this cat c.d at a discount store back in the day on a fluke! And I still jam it today!!! even made $ off of copies that I played in the park!!!
It's almost 4 hours into the new year 2020 and this song is still a bop! I still bump this album and put other people on to it...I'm always shocked that they'd never heard it before and they're glad to have been introduced to some real music🔥 Happy New Year🎉
I remember being in coconuts record store on Western across the street from evergreen plaza meandering the aisles. When the store clerk(with whom I had rapport) asked if I wanted to hear something smooth made by a White boy. I said nah, Im good Bruh you know my style and pimped off. As I was getting ready to check out, he asked are you sure, my man who just checked out bought one. I said, okay lemme hear. MAAAAAANNNN the groove, the sounds, the voice, the message wrapped me up. Been a fan ever since. I even put others up on this dude. One of the coldest and best slept on ever. You can listen to the whole thing and not be disappointed. Thanks for posting. Good memories
Same year I landed in canada, this single was out and I got to listen to this dank ass song on much music quite frequently. I was 16 and thought this song was damn sexy. Still is in 2021
This My grandmas jam i thank her for introducing me to good music like this at a young age i was 9yrs old walkin around singin this 😩😂❤️ he was way ahead of his time
I can't believe ppl don't know about you. You are a very talented dinner this is by far one of my favorite songs...ppl completely fell asleep on you my brother but I'm still a fan
This is real music, so talented, this is the real deal, what ever happen to this guy..... so under appreciated. Too me he sounds like Lenny Kravitz with a Jamiroquail twist.
