If you haven't watched it, Ren's 1 Million subscriber video is truly worth a reaction. It really gives you insight into Ren and why we all love him so much.

Ren was freezing here, according to his own account about it. He also thought he was dying, and this was a real life interpretation of his emotions at the time. Bib I was apparently his real-life girlfriend at the time. I find it almost painful to watch.

This is such an underrated gem, for the video and the song both. The final shot and line where she vanishes is so compelling and challenging…did she leave, was she ever there to begin with, did he lose his mind after all, did one lead to the other? This video and song is so beautiful and absolutely crushing at the same time. What a brilliant piece of art and vulnerable performance. It makes my heart ache for young Ren. What you will find as you continue down the Ren journey is that he has a way with his lyrics to hit home and connect in a way no one else can - he has an innate ability to be able to describe exactly what you feel or have felt inside and do it so empathetically that so many have felt that they are not alone. He truly is a voice for the voiceless. It's always important with Ren to sprinkle in happy cheeky Ren along with the more dramatic and tougher Ren songs. Just on this video, there was no budget and Ren spent hours on the cold damp floor on a cold day (at a time when he was really suffering with his illness). The man is a martyr to his craft.

jessie please don't ever think we don't care about your projects, i watch your reactions as i love your perspective. your light truly shines and draws me into your orbit. Crutch really touches me as i am 57 with a degenerative disease that has stole my mobility, i was married for 30 plus years till he had an affair with his brothers wife and imploded our families, i now live alone with my 2 furry friends but sometimes i wonder what it was all for and feel so lonely. But finding Ren and his music has helped me feel less alone and also finding such beautiful people like yourself. lets keep frolicking 🤣

This is a beautiful pre message. I recently had somebody say that, instead of saying hurt people, hurt people. You should be saying healed people heal people. And that’s what you’re doing by sharing your message so thank you. Since Covid, I’ve been diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases which keep me in my bed a lot. But luckily, I found reaction channels and the whole community people that have helped me through this situation. I went from a working mother of 5 and a high paid business position. To spending probably 20 hours a day in bed. I also hope to be a beacon of light. And show that even though my life harder than it’s ever been, my happiness depends on me. I thought I already knew that, but as it turns out, sometimes you gotta go through the trenches to learn the real stuff. Anyway, hope you’re having a great day. Love your content. Loved it. Great job as always. And that is very cool about the similarities of your 2018 footage. I just had a serendipitous encounter this weekend, which is the 30-year anniversary of my father’s untimely death. I met a young woman who is a harmonic player like my dad was. I shared a video of him in his prime with her and she was blown away and wanted to share it with her band. It was such a special moment to see her eyes light up and I thought of Ren’s line, “When I am gone I’ll rise in the music that I left behind.” Very thankful for the community Ren and the RENegade fans like you have been cultivating. I always wonder what Ren & his ex gf Bibi think nowadays because Ren is in better health & his music has become successful. There’s probably plenty of second guessing & it will be there for life. I know how sickness affects a relationship, I’ve been there. My wife passed two years ago very suddenly. I’ve struggled with loneliness & the survivors guilt. One thing I’ve learned about myself is taking people for granted. I got professional help & I forgave myself. I am in the light now…but there are still dark shadows.

I can't remember if i suggested it or voted something but that was definitely what spurred me to think you should do it. Poor Ren in this video was already very underweight and clearly suffering so much. Tbh it feels like the 'not knowing' what was wrong was making everything so much worse. Of course taking anti depressants and anti psychotics for years instead of actual treatment for Lyme's Disease wasn't helping! Im just so glad Ren has such resilience and the amazing ability to express himself and uses that give others a voice we wouldn't normally hear. For your next Ren video may I suggest something a bit more fun; Losing It is a retake of an EDM song that originally just had the titles words only as the lyrics. Needless to say Ren's 'rendition' is a bit more complex 😅 That and the fact it's filmed with a fish eye lens in it's entirety makes it a very interesting watch. I would love to take the opportunity to introduce you to a different artist. She is a Spanish artist called Rosalía. She is currently more known nowadays for her more latin style music but her earlier work was incredible and so original! You would love her visuals, they're like little works of art. Like Ren, Rosalía is a very intelligent artist, able to write, compose and produce her own music and play various instruments. Her album El Mal Querer was written as her final year project at Uni and it won her a Grammy. She did it on a laptop with a the help of her friend. The album is in the style of a book, with each song a chapter and tells the story of a young lady who is seduced by a man and marries him despite having a bad feeling about him. If you do check her out, please start with Malamente (Badly). She uses so much symbolism in her videos that you could write an essay about it. It helps if you understand Spanish but regardless, I think you will appreciate the filmography. If you find out the story behind what happened to him at age 19. The health problems physical and mental were due to misdiagnosis resulting in Ren not getting the appropriate treatment for the actual disease he had. In Hi Ren you get a picture of some of the battles occurring for him during this process
