Dimash had asked Igor Krutoy if he could compose an Ave Maria for him with no words...and the reason is that he wanted a song that everyone could listen to regardless of race, religion etc. This is so Beautiful and I have listened to it many, many times and it always brings tears to my eyes. I’ve heard Dimash and Igor rehearsing and Igor played full out. He’s amazing. Igor and Dimash are unsurpassed in the work they create. I noticed another comment about this song being the last thing they want to hear when they pass. I plan on having this played at my memorial service when I pass. My dad was 95 when he got to hear this and he had spent his life starting from about the age of 5, In electricity, music, radio, and language labs. His exact words when he heard this for the first time was this is what all the effort I put in was for. And it was worth it. He passed away 3 days latter listening to Dimash peacefully in his sleep a happy man.

Igor Krutoy is an amazing artist and highly successful in his work as a composer, musician, and music producer. But you are right in saying that his contribution is often overlooked by reviewers. This is, however, understandable, since the voice and the mere presence of Dimash on the stage is so overpowering that only few can focus on something else, such as the stage setting, lights, orchestra/band, choir/backup singers - or "the piano player". Only after reacting to several songs composed by him (and constant reminding by Dears) they start greeting the artist with a happy "Oh, there's Igor" and paying attention to his playing, facial expressions etc. Igor Krutoys YT channel has lots and lots of videos of his own performances as well as of collaborations with other artists, such as Dmitriy Hvorostovskiy, Lara Fabian, Andrei Bocelli, and Dimash. There is a very very beautiful song he does called Qaragym Ai from his 2021 digital concert. It is if I recall about the daughter of one of his mentors who passed away before she was able to marry. I believe the song was written by the mentor or the brother of the mentor. The mentor and teacher died of covid. In the digital concert it is just Dimash accompanied by one of his back up singers Zarina who is playing the piano. It is very emotional and just beautifully shot and performed.

Yea, Dimash phoned Igor one evening, asking if he was interested in doing Ave Maria. Dimash shared his ideas and next morning, it was all done. It is seldom that Dimash performs anything without discussion if he is not making the arrangement himself. I heard a Russian you guber, wne seems very knowledgeable about everything musical. He was saying that he thought this version is akin to the original versions back I the 17th & 18th centuraries. Definitely a meditative approach for me. Cheers, see ya!!

Igor is the best composer I have ever heard. I just love him. Dimash's performances are surely enhanced with the team of talented artists that help him make the most beautiful music in the world. His chorus is magnificent. When I listen to him, I am transported to another world.

It´s just a master piece...

A song without lyrics is called a "vocalise". Nobody does it like Dimash.

Igor is a genius in many genres. I have three of his albums that I found on Amazon music. His smooth jazz is really cool; film themes and scores and sweeping orchestral pieces, all evoke the emotions. I would go so far as to say, that much, much more than any mediocre pop song Dimash sometimes performs, Igor Krutoy has done more for propelling Dimash to the world stage via his music. In fact, although Dimash forages into pop, he is most comfortable and at his best when singing lyrical or dramatic songs, even modern-day cantatas, like those written by Igor. I believe that many fans of Dimash, who appreciate a wide spread of music, and with an ear to what a voice like Dimash has, sounds best in, it’s definitely crossover and yes, operatic pieces, Khazak songs and then the lyric wonder of Igor Krutoy’s emotional music. That Maestro is indeed an sublime melodist for the ages!! Thank you for noticing him as well!
