Have to agree with the comments below. I bought one of these this year. Yes it doesn't handle like a hot hatch. But in terms of value and practicality, these are second to none (parts are cheap too). I got the 1.6 16v petrol, which is admittedly underpowered. However, as a family runaround and transporter its brilliant. My wife uses it during the day as her car and she feels the same. We can get 2 adults, 2 kids and all our holiday luggage in when going away. My ones got 120k miles on the clock, and is still running well considering its age.

you must be joking dude, this is a great car, even when is broken it goes right, mine can eat 5 adults, 3 snow boars - with their bindings off-- l and two pairs of skis AND their luggage(all these IN THE CAR, not on the car or behind it ) , that is right I am not going to go with 100 mph. still there is one think you are right with, 6 th gear, I beleve that this is one of the few cars which askS for 6 th gear

I've driven one and i enjoy it. I like sitting high up and I like the unusual slant to the steering wheel where the top of it is far away and the lower is close. Why did alot of Renaults have this strange slanted wheel in the mid nineties through to early noughties?

That's my 12 yr-old car you're criticising! And it's done 250,000 miles with only routine maintenance.Ok I don't whack it up to 60,or zoom round corners.Who IS this guy? Of course,it has dated in some departments, but I don't care -still getting 65 mpg touring rate.And I think it's a modern classic(it WAS car of the year) original design and you can take out the seats when you go picnicking .

and another thing!!!!!! you are comparing it with Sharan?????? these ARE TWO different things, have you tried removing the back seats of an sharan ????? you ll shit your self till you will get them out. do you know the price of an oil change to sharan ??? did it sell that good becase it is a shity car?? dont thik so man.
