By pure chance, I had to drive a 2003 Renault Scénic the other day, and decided to make a video about it, because why not?
The Mégane Scénic of 1996 was facelifted 3 years later and became just the Scénic, which was a huge success for Renault. Designed by Patrick LeQuement, responsible for bold and clever stuff like the Avantime, it was the standard other MPVs aimed to match.

I had the Laguna V6 second gen(2001), think it had around 1800 rpm doing 100kph quite comfy and quite nice looks on that car, the issues with coils was a pain i replaced 7 out of 6 which often let me without a car for a week and ~200 euro out of wallet.

Oh, and one more thing I remembered (and that goes for all manual cars): "loading" the engine in the top gear has a negative effect on the clutch. I've learned this though the years, and I ...."smelled" it when I had a burned out clutch on my job's van, and had to go uphill in a high gear. 4th out of 5, and the clutch slipped. Of course it was defective and we've changed it after a while, but still, that would be the same effect keeping it in 5th with a good clutch. If the loading on the engine is getting to higher levels, sometimes keeping it in 5th gear (or 6th on the C5, top gear anyway) can take you only so far. After a point, I believe the clutch starts slipping. Just for a little bit, not so bad that it'll smell, but I believe it has a tiny amount of slip. That's why it's better to go down one gear. From 6th to 5th on the C5, or from 5th to 4th on the Scenic (or any other 5 speed car). On the C5 I go from 6th to 5th on an upgrade, and keep it at 2000 rpm and ~93 kph, which is not bad for highway, not bad for pulling power, (since it's on the peak torque point), and also not bad for the clutch. Win-win. 👍👍👍
