I booked… got delivered in 15days. 4yrs. 1,10,000km. I nvr regretted it. I am a responsible driver. I rarely drive at 100. Mostly will shuffle from 80-90kmph. I had beautiful mileage. Now… when i think of buying another vehicle… nothing comes to my mind after duster. SUV boomed in india after duster, my opinion. Excellent vehicle.

Duster should come back with diesel or hybrid turbo petrol engine else less chance of picking up in current market.

Today the compact suvs are dominated by 1.5 NAs, so creta, seltos apart from the diesels, if not for the diesels their trump card also include 1.5 NAs and 1.5 turbos, so even elavate has a 1.5 ivetec, as per my idea, out 10 cretas I sold 8 were base to midrange petrol 1.5s, these are the people who buy base creta instead of top end venue. I think as of now 1.5 NAs are also a trump card, people buy sx 1.5 varient also. As of now budget compact suvs are still going for these 1.5NAs from creta, seltos, Astor or even elevat, . Rather than the small turbos. As for hybrid the hyryder hybrid still starts from 19lakhs that price has to come down still for the hybrid to work here, as of now hybrid can t fight with the diesels in price, a creta 1.5 diesel with vgt starts from 14lakhs
