Here we go....lets make this house livable for the time being. She's rundown, leaking and nature has taken over.
With a little elbow grease and using what we have here it doesn't take much to get this house into a livable state. Which makes me wonder why the pervious owners put up with the state of the house for so long. I guess we all have different ideas of what's acceptable, some one watching this could say the same thing about us living here now. So, the moral of the story is if you are happy with the way things are than that's all that matters, forget about what other people say about you.
Anyway, we've encountered a number of snakes, bats and rather large spiders since being here but it was to be expected. I was drilling it in to Denis from the day we put a contract on the house about the amount of snakes that will be here, I was more so cautious of the Brown snakes, Red belly blacks, Coastal Taipan's and Death Adders and not so much the Carpet Pythons and other non venomous ones.
