I agree with every word, but i have a question, why is the chamber mostly empty? It appears as if those worthy of contempt aren't there. Perhaps they are all off somewhere spreading more stupid lies and vicious, unfounded hatred.
Republican congress members have learned that they don’t have to really do their job. They are not helping the American people in anyway. They are trying to get Trump elected.
Everyone is there when there are votes being taken; less people (usually those on the relevant Committees and their staff) are there during debate time, and once debate and votes are done, there is time allowed for speeches. Only a handful are there, usually, as the speeches are mainly to get issues, opinions, special events, historical anniversaries, etc on the Congressional record.

Somebody who refuses to research both sides is easily conned. Someone who is bothered by my telling them that is probably in a cult. Adam Schiff makes a hell of a lot of sense for those who listen to him, and yes, I listen to both sides and verify them.
