Esta muy bien el trabajo, pero en lo personal le falto fondear el remplazo de chasis con otro tipo de soldadura, como lo es la sodadura 6010, y posteriormente aplicar la sodadura 7018, pero con cordon continuo de punto por punto ese tipo de soldadura no queda bien, saludos cordiales atte Jesús Gómez torreón coahuila México. @@paultodd2375 the crack is most likely completely removed here, so there is no need for drilling. Drilling holes is only used when welding cracks, not when you completely remove the crack and everything around it. But like the other guy said, there should have been a radius to the end. I mean, you could drill it with a 30-40 mm hole saw but since he already had the plasma going in would have been easy to just eyeball a decent radius there.
I did the same thing on a dump truck that was on a farm, never saw the highway. Heat treated frame rails should NEVER BE WELDED. THE GAS CUTTING WAS GOOD THOUGH
