@@ZKMasterTech Granted, I am not a Master Heavy Equipment Technician such as yourself, but I hold the exact opposite view. I really enjoy your videos, but when you do the actual task you state in your video, you go to time lapse, or what ever it's called. You did it twice on this piece of machinery. When you were replacing that steering unit, one moment you're chasing threads, and WHAM the next moment you're pointing to the INSTALLED Unit. " I think I been Cheated! ;-} And then when you were working on the valve cover, you were preparing to clean the mating surfaces, and then all of a sudden you're torqueing the hold down bolts and the cover is installed. All of this stuff is interesting to allot of your fans, yet you omit it. Still give your videos an A, but PLEASE show everything. The LONGER the videos, the BETTER! That's how we learn!

Nice job, I was a bus/ heavy truck tech for 45+ years. I retired in December of 2020. This new technology is absolutely amazing. But I can’t tell you how many of those EGR coolers I replaced, and the amount of fuel I burned doing park regeneration on just what I worked on. I don’t think the people responsible for this stuff figured that in. Nice to see a young guy that takes pride in his work. Keep it up.

Tractors of that size are scarcely seen around where I live, the scale of them is difficult to understand until you see the size of things like the air cleaner assembly. Thank you for your informative and entertaining videos. Regards from Scotland.

Lots of what you know, and do, can only come with experience from doing it. The section where you had a good go at stripping the part down to find out why it failed proves my point. You are destined for great things my friend.

Another great job Zeth! I appreciate your ability to simplify these jobs so anyone can understand what you are doing. You really have a talent for teaching and it's great that Sloans realized this and have you working and promoting their apprentice program. I also like your camera high resolution and angles that you use. It's very easy to understand what you are doing and locations that you are doing the work in. Too many times other RU-vidrs go in so tight or so far away with their shots, you don't really understand what they are doing. You have this perfected. Thanks and keep up the great work!

When you are removing hoses with the hose hook, squirt a little WD40 in the area the hook is in. It will help release the rubber from the plastic or metal fittings. I have done that for 37 years as an auto tech. Retired since 2016

Thank you for the informative and detailed videos. Our farming fleet is primarily green and watching your videos gives me more confidence working on our equipment. I wish this video had come out a couple years ago.............. we had a 9630T with the black sludge in the coolant tank. Local dealer said the same thing that it could be 1 of 3 issues causing it. We started with the oil cooler first and it didn't fix the problem. I wish I had known about taking off the pipe to the EGR. Seems pretty simple unless you break a bolt off in it. Look forward to all future videos.

Have you heard of the 2 head bolts that can cause dirty coolant on the 13.5l? We have 9530T and 9330 with this issue. Local dealer got me bolts with molded orings on them. There is a oil galley way just below the head of the bolt. Problem is the bolts are for the tier 4 engine. Being a 30 series of course ours are tier 3. Deere has no shorter bolt. I’m told. Mainly because it’s solid black and you can’t see the level and it’s good to start with a clear tank after a repair like that so you know when you have another failure in the future.

I think all tractor manufacturers have engineered their products to be far, far too complicated and expensive to work on. There is too much integration of electronics and hydraulics on modern farm equipment. This has resulted in the people who buy this equipment to run on their farms being unable to service it when it fails. I long for the days 20 or 30 years ago when we would buy equipment and service it ourselves when something failed. Today this is impossible without the dealer getting involved with diagnosis and service. Farmers are not highly trained technicians who can work and diagnose modern day equipment. They are farmers, they harvest food, not tractor parts. I commend ZK for his abilities as a mechanic. But, we should not need him for simple, basic maintenance.
