I just bought an old non-functioning BT L 2000 ($30), and i did a search on youtube, what did i find; Sadik Dan. 1 hour later it is now functioning, apart from a broken return-spring for the handle. Thanks from Sweden! and say hello to my mother in-law(Viola) in Manila if you see that witch...
Very good. I too have a pallet truck with the same problem but sadly don't have the patience or the memory to take so many parts off and remember to put them back in the right place!
What size is the u seal taken from the piston housing under the spring. Did you just replace that or the complete quick lift piston. I'd just like to order seal, but they only sell it complete with all the piston components.
I own a BT Model L 2000 Pallet Jack manufactured in 1993. It pumps up fine and releases fine with no weight on it. With a wooden pallet and 150 lbs it will stay up for about 30-45 Seconds then it drops down to the floor on it’s own. With wooden pallet and 400 lbs on it when lifted it drops right down to the floor in no time. Can someone tell me what the problem is with it. It is full with hydraulic oil like it should be and I tried bleeding it more then once. As I said it pumps up well with no weight on it and releases well it just can’t hold a load for very long and it doesn’t seem to be leaking any fluid. I don’t know much more about it and I don’t see any You Tube videos that shows how to rebuild it. Have no idea where to find a manual to rebuild it. Any help out there is appreciated.
@@daniloeb22 Thanks for responding back. Not sure on my end where to start to take it apart. I see different seal kits sold online for the BT Model L2000. There are 3 kits sold on Amazon. The cheapest $12 US plus Shipping = $19. It consists of 3 Seals and 1 Large O-Ring. I asked the seller if a pump diagram comes with the parts and was just answered with a plain (NO). Then I asked if directions came with the seal kit and this time I received no answer. The more expensive kit comes with way more seals including springs,clips,washers and what have you. It sells for $51 plus shipping for a total of $58. I have no idea which one to order at this point. The smaller kit although more reasonable I am not sure if just replacing the 3 seals and 1 O-Ring will cure the problem.
check if there is a oil leak,then if there was probably the oil is not sufficient to lift that's why it become weak,I hope I answered your question ☺️☺️☺️

@@daniloeb22 sir ganun parin ang hydjack namin, napalitan ko na ng U-seal at scrapper ring. kapagtrial na walang load ok sya, pero kapag i-assemble na kahit walang load kapag ikabit na ang extended fork, nababa ng kusa.
