Really nice simple to the point explanation on getting this job done. RU-vid also needs a new video for the Pitch and pop up light. Maybe you can one for those as well.
People might want to try a 1k resistor before they try a 470 ohm. See what you think of 1k as the LED's could last much longer if you find them bright enough.
Hi really nice video :) very well explained i have one question please i want to replace the strobe leds into blue and also 33 and 45 buttons what kind of resistance do i have to use? thanx.
Thank you, I use a 470 ohm resistor for the strobe leds. I haven't replaced the 33/45 leds yet but I know there are videos out there that may mention the resistor they are using.
The blue LEDs that I used are a lower value than the original resistors. The brightness would be too much and can cause them to burn out. You can experiment without the resistor and see if it suits your taste.
THE TURNTABLE IS DESIGN TO USE A REGULAR (FILLAMENT) LIGHT BULB. WHEN A MODIFICATION IS MADE WITH LED THE POWER OF THE TURNTABLE IS MUCH HIGHER FOR THE LED, THE RESIDTOR SUPPRESS THE HIGH VOLTAGE GOING INTO THE LED. IT PROTECTS THE LED FROM BLOWING UP.
