Love your videos. I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado 3.0 diesel. It’s my first diesel. I have learned so much watching your repairs. It’s always a learning curve for you also. Like how you always think it out and repair things yourself. I know I have a different engine but, they all run the same. I’ve had issues with ticking injector(s). Dealer told me to use some cleaner. It’s helped but hasn’t solved the problem. The tick comes and goes on its own, mostly when cold but not always. Hope the cleaner catches up and solves the noise. I will use it regularly as I’m learning how crappy our diesel fuel is in North America.

Hey merry Christmas even though it’s the day after and I will have to buy me a notebook because you have definitely earned the Duramax master mechanic trophy of the year. I’m gonna need that notebook just to keep track of all the advice and all the items that I need to be watching out for so I know what to do when these things come my way, but I think I’m gonna pass on that towbar. I don’t think I wanna jinx myself by getting one of those suckers to have it in the truck, but it might be smart to have one just in case, but anyway have a good couple of days safe trip down to Texas happy new year and will catch up again soon

great job boss, i had a P1089 code last winter and had to change this rail on my truck, just a word of advice since it didnt show in this video, a former GM mechanic told me not to reuse the black washers you remove from the oil feed line to the turbo, or else it might leak oil because they are basically a 1 time use, just something to watch out for boss.

I just bought a 2018 L5P, never owned a diesel. I have been watching all your videos and taking in the knowledge. Just replaced Nox1 (code P20EE) yesterday and bought from your amazon store, along with tools and I have NO complaints. Seriously appreciate your content. Also my CTS3 should be here Friday and bought the same mount. The placement is perfect.

I do have experience with those ecm plugs. When you go to remove them take the drivers side inner fender out and it will be much easier to remove them. The plug has 2 rails that slide back and forth. Make sure they are in time with each other and make sure there isn't broken tabs on the ecm itself. Those tabs are very crucial for holding the ecm plug tight to the ecm. If you're missing any of those tabs the ecm plug will never hold tight.

I haul rvs to.. get rid of ur diesel pickup.. get a gas truck that's what I got and I save a 1000 a month compared to my buddies that have a diesel..

I run a 2022 High Country Duramax just to pull our Camper. I was thinking of getting the 6.6 gas 3/4 ton and I just watch these videos and think, a 6.6 gas would be so much more reliable… I don’t know. Toss up.
