This is to help the DIYer manage the process of replacing the Fuel Pump and or the Sending Unit on a 2001 Chevy Suburban. I am not a mechanic and don't claim to know everything. Just want to show you my experience and point out some things that other videos don't tell you. Also share my mistakes so you don't do the same thing. I made a pretty good mistake on this job and don't want you to do it too. I hope this video can help you with your project.

I was going to attempt this repair on my own, but I believe I'll leave it to my mechanic that has a hydraulic lift at his shop. Thanks for being so thorough in your video. Didn't imagine four lines and a vapor canister would also be involved. Nor did I want to attempt to cut through the floorboard to make the repair/replacement. KUDOS!

I'm curious, where did you find the fuel supply and return lines. I can't seem to place my and it's infuriating...

THey should be running along the chassis on the driver side of the vehicle. You should also see an inline fuel filter. That should help you identify the lines.

Thanks for the heads up on emissions lines. I definitely would have missed it too.

Well, I'm 100% certain it's a 2001. Thanks for the feedback though.
