Well done you saved yourself a lot of money. I am going to do mine next time soon, last time I paid £400 (300 euro) for a fiat dealer to do it this time i will buy the kit £100 and do it myself.👍

Exactly it might take you much time doing it by yourself for the first time but in other hand you save the cash.

I also agree with Fabio's comment that you don't need that much sealant. Excess will be squeezed into the water jacket. Not optimal. Still a good video.

I never done this, so don't take me too serious. But in my opinion you used too much sealant, most will come out the sides but some might go to the pump wheel and stop it from working. Also i've seen people apply a small layer of sealent to the engine too. Another tip i picked up is that its a good practice to mark the old belt before removing and compare it to the new one, to make sure they`re the same. This video is extremely useful, i've read the manual on how to do it, but actually seeing it in a video is far better. I have the same engine on my Fiat Bravo T-Jet.

Rather it was the sealant used in the video that wasn't good enough and after a few days it started leaking. It was a pain in the ass to remove the pump and apply a red sealant that held very hard. Well give it a try one time and thanks for the subscription👍.

La revue technique indique qu'il faut desserer (rendre libre) la poulie d'arbre à cames (cela c'est probablement pour une meilleure répartition de la tension de la courroie sur toute sa longueur) et de forcer plus loin avec les repères du tendeur pour ensuite après serrage de la poulie crantée de l'arbre à cames, mettre les repères du tendeur l'un en face de l'autre. De cette façon la courroie est tendue régulièrement. l'inconvénient est qu'il faut posséder une clé Dynamométrique. Alors moi j'ai fait comme vous dans votre vidéo il y a déjà 7 ans et je n'ai pas eu de problème, je dois bientôt la changer elle n'est pas endommagée en apparence, juste par sécurité bien sûr. il paraît que le fait d'avoir une courroie tendue plus fortement d'un côté peut provoquer des usures des crans de la courroie prématurées, cela peut arriver. Qu'en pensez vous? Pour ceux qui lisent mon commentaire.

Cependant, si vous avez envie d'essayer de changer les courroies de votre voiture, faites-le correctement. Après tout, vous savez déjà ce qu'il y a à faire. Il y a aussi le kit de distribution exprès pour faciliter l'opération. Des biens.

yes sir🤘🤣. However we had a leakage from the water pump using a white silicon after a few days, so in this video we did remove the pump and apply this red silicon.

So these reference points, they are already on camshaft, crankshaft and engine, and then you just highlighted them or what? This is unclear to me. Thanks

Hello from uk ... I have a t-jet 150 .. What about timming tool to hold everything in place ? its not necessary ? thank you

Hello man, thou we didn't use a timming tool but with the normal tools, up till now everything is running perfect. We've never had a problem. However I'd recommend a timming tool to facilitate the work and make life somehow easy.
