We wanted to thank Stradman for choosing our newest and lightest HT350 Kevlar clutch. We have 3 Gallardo Kevlar clutch models and HT350 is our top of the line. The throw out bearing is a modified LP throw out bearing with thicker and better seals so it will last longer than an oem. We are glad that we were able to save you a lot of money on the throw out bearing. James, thank you for making this video because a lot of our customers kept asking for a video that shows the installation. Your video is very informative and fun to watch. Great job...
James if you don't know it yet, I'm putting it out there that YOU are likely the most popular exotic car vlogger. You are polite, articulate and WITHOUT cocky arrogant attitude. I'll be nice and not mention the others. I've seen very few of the other be offered rides in or more importantly, handed the keys to cars 3 and 4 times the value of your own car. I most respect your clear not polluted speech not tainted by foul language. keep up the EXCELLENT work! You set the bar high and VERY few have come remotely near it. Maybe Dr. m3 but that's it.
James, it seems you did really well on the repair and Makes and Models are true champions to convert that throughout bearing for you. I give them a huge shout out for sure. When my father had a body shop there was this awesome dude who ran a gas station right next door. He was top notch guy all the integrity in the world. He used to do things like that all the time saving time and money for loads of people. He is now retired, on a note lol he actually bought an entire mountain in West Virginia. He told me stories of people running around on his land in hunting season. He was more than ok with it as long as they stayed out of the posted areas. Any ways I digress. Great job on the fix and I wish you some major luck in the future.
juansolis758 buys expensive car Cough up 3000 extra as insurance for if they break, they can pay for it Or do it yourself which is a trap since if you break something it’s prob gonna cost 10k + What a nice business
Hey bro ! lots of love from India...it gives me great joy to see an average person like us going so forward and trying to capture every car as possible in his camera so we can enjoy your content...really love to see all the hard work what you put in these beautiful vlogs...hope you are killing it today!! have fun..cheers
Great seeing the car back in good running order. The Gallardo is the car that made me fall in love with Lamborghini, it's timeless. Looks great in Orange!
marstall04 the ad revenue is SHIT bro , take my word I have a channel with 100k views and I got less than 1 fucking dollar .... youtube has changed ALOT .
I had been looking at Gallardos, possibly trading in my gated Ferrari 360...after seeing some of your videos, it made me realize that the 360 is comparatively dirt cheap to maintain. Thanks for bringing me back to earth.
Yo Strad you should do more with the Gallardo. I kinda forget you have it when u do all the videos about other cars. It's a dope ass car you should do some dope ass shit w it
Someone touched the new clutch with greasy hands. It's only a few spots but still, it could cause "chattering" and such which means it could have uneven wear and a short life. Never, *ever*, touch a clutch pad or brake pad. There is simply no way to clean them and one greasy spot can ruin it.
That Corrado in the background though! And I agree with keeping the liability with the pro's. There is a reason why they do what they do! Still a lot of dough though! That's my classic car project rolling down the road right there. Still saving up to get to that goal.
Try a flat black wrap. Use some dark red accents. Just a suggestion. What's amazing is the clutch replacement cost as much as a new base Chevy Cobalt. Wow.
I may not like what you're but I enjoy who you are. Thanks for sharing a cool experience. Always love seeing the ridiculous prices. I paid 300 bucks for new starter and that was most expensive bill on the receipt.
How are you doing man? Always enjoy your joy for cars! Crazy price though haha. Parts on my Ducati are stupid expensive, when compared to other models.
Honestly, for an exotic car, that looks pretty easy to work on. Lots of access to everything, and the layout of the drivetrain is very straightforward.
Man I would at least be in the mechanics way trying to clean everything with engine degreaser and such to make new while you can and have the chance. The frame and structure cracks me up how simple the rectangular componants are. I think your font style and choice for logo reminds me of the old chrome Diner signs. I like the hat font. You really should get some 3pce forged wheels. Reminds me of paper masche with a basic geometric wire frame or video game model. Awesome video Stradman!!!
WillamBernahe; Cooking I don't know what mud looks like from where you come from, but that definitely doesn't look like mud from where I'm from. Definitely looks like a poor paint job after some repairs were done
Anything to save some money cause Uncle Sam already over taxes us to death just to afford there Rediculouslly large paychecks while taking in Corporate bribes to screw over the tax payer. Heck let them blow billions of it overseas while in the USA we need it for infrastructure, Healthcare, etc. Welcome to America :) You can write-off anything if you know the loophole and its perfectly legal ;)
Got 39K out of the clutch huh? my honda just broke 210K...original clutch. you would think that a company that used to build farm tractors would have a stronger unit.....
its a sports car. the companies make it not last long so ppl have to buy new ones. they arent supposed to last a long time, 40k is a lot for that kind of clutch
Yes! New record. I only had to scroll down about 5 comments to find someone comparing a Lamborghini to a Honda. Excllent you are here to enlighten us with comparisons on two vehicles that are worlds apart and should never be compared in any way other than that they both have 4 wheels.
+Philip Naida lots of times these clips are filmed 30 minutes apart and I don't remember how I phrased the precious clip. Sorry about that....always trying to improve
No not like that, I mean in the same sentence you say the same thing twice in a row. For example at 6:13. Its not a big deal lol dont worry about it I was just wondering.
Well done James, good video and pleased to see you get it done properly. The big question, the only question now is do you keep or bale? My gut feeling is to sell it within a short period. The car is at its best now with the new clutch and will sell easier because of M&M doing the job. Move it on up the road and start a new chapter in your supercar life. A Ferrari 430 perhaps or go for the big one and get a 612 Scaglietti, hugely under valued at the moment and a real Ferrari for the money.
Great to see it back on the road, we look forward to lots more e.g. Dogvlog, Karts, Wrangler, Drone and most important, Friends. Looking forward to your half million. Regards, Bob, South Wales UK squad
A lot of money too be sure. But we are not talking a clutch on my Focus ST. Getting a professional to do the work....money well spent. Not only do they do the job properly and with a warranty. They also spot any other problems that may currently exist or are about to happen. Well done mate and safe travels :)
So happy you got your ride back. Sucks it cost so much but who cares, it's just money. Now rack up those 500 miles fast so we can hear you "open it up" to welcome the bull back home. Great video as always. If you're ever in Cincinnati I'd love for you to drive my vintage air cooled Porsche 911 & I'll buy at Chic Fil A!
