Replacing the Drivers Power Window switch in a MK6 Golf 

The first video I saw said the door panels had to come off, then I saw this. THANK YOU! Time saved was huge. While it took 5 minutes, getting the cover panel off was scary... thought it was going to break. It didn't, and my GTI is happy now. If course your video is backwards. :)

Great video, don't know why other people were removing the entire door panels..

Happy days, 5 minute job! Windows working. No hassle at drive though or car park machines.

Trying to do it this way but its hard removing. Afraid to use force and break it. Did yours come of easy(looks like it here) or did you apl some force

Where did you get the replacement button from and how much. Are the ones from ebay worth it or genuine from wreckers

I have one question, 1 Button is broken on my volkswagen touran 2016. Can i just buy 1 button and replace or do i have to replace all ?

What was the brand of the pry tool you used?

The question is, can you do this on a MK7. Do not feel like removing entire door panel for this job as demonstrated in other videos.
