Reptile Foggers Vs Reptile Misters: Which is the better choice?

In this video I wanted to do a comparison between using the zoo med Repti Fogger vs Using the Mister Lizard Jr. They are both great options for regulating humidity in your reptile enclosure. But they both have very different applications in my opinion. They are super awesome to use for animals like dart frogs. But the good old misters work just as well! How's the frogs???

I honestly just got a reptile dog machine off Amazon for like 15 dollars. It just sits in water. It’s the best thing ever for the price! Great video! I love the fog machines!

Great video, I had made a fogger myself using a humidifier and it worked out great but the reptifogger works great aswell. This reminds me i have a few vacant bioactive set ups that are waiting for frogs

I just happened to find one at petco and they price matched it for me. But it does work good though! What kind of frogs though?

@@JosuesExotics I have one tall bioactive exoterra that i wanted to put 1 or 2 blue phase dumpys tree frogs in. Id like to get them small and raise them. I have a tomato frog and a ornate horned frog may look to get another type of horned frog they are pretty fun. My look for a trio of goldenPhyllobates terribilis as adults they can eat small crickets and are hardy.

Great video as always. We built our dart frog vivarium to accept a fogger, just haven’t installed one. Perhaps it’s time to upgrade!

I would definitely recommend buying it off of amazon. They tend to be alot higher at petco or petsmart. But I'm glad you enjoyed The video

I imagine it's a bit different but with my hermit crabs I use a mist bottle and have lots of water in the soil or sand. I'll also use a below-tank heater to warm their enclosure and evaporate some of that water, creating a nice humid environment they love.

@@JosuesExotics They're very personable and easy to care for. When they get comfortable with you they can be quite playful in their own unique ways. Very fun and very low maintenance.

Can you hookup a standard (and clean) 2l coke bottle filled with distilled water to double capacity, or who you be worried about the base tipping? Seems like the screw top is compatible.

Yes they do! The foggers do more at the surface level but the mister will get further into the soil in my opinion!

I use a app called power director. I have a chromebook at home and I find this to be the best! But if you have windows Adobe Premier all the way!
