Thank you all for all your generosity, love, caring, and just helping in general. Your services are invaluable and absolutely appreciated, even though you dont get told enough. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and all those you touch in one form or another, directly or indirectly, thank you!
Note to self, when my husband and I eventually go to Ireland to trace his ancestry and we visit blarney castle don’t pass out on the top of the castle ... but I’m glad she was okay in the end
Wish I would love to afford go to Ireland, probably never be able to go but I've always felt a longing too.I have part Irish in me,maybe that's why.I think these people are beautiful & amazingly kind.
The reason they helped the overdose is because he's a human being. You never know what someone is going through or why. They don't judge or decide whether someone deserves their help or not. They help everyone who needs their help, even little old people who call for silly reasons just because they're lonely. It's not our place to decide if someone deserves to survive or not, what if that was your brother or nephew or father. You never know what someone is dealing with.
makes me sad when i see people saying certain people don’t deserve care. like you said, the paramedics aren’t there to judge, they’re there to save a life, and a human is a human is a human, nothing else matters in that moment
My mom flew to Dublin to visit her aunt and literally CRASHED her hire car right outside the airport lol, so thank you guys for caring so well for her and showing up so quickly! 😂
Was most likely treated by Dublin Fire Brigade paramedics or Dublin Airport Authority Paramedics! The HSE National Ambulance Service Provides the ambulance service outside of Dublin
Great programme. Ireland 🇮🇪 you should be proud of your Paramedics! Big love from UK 🇬🇧 Paramedic Practitioner (also have loads of family out there, both North and South of the border.
All of you loving people are healers you touch the very frightened with such compassion and kindness no matter who or what is happening Many Blessings on you all❤
I love this show! I have noticed that in Ireland and the UK people call them ‘fits’ not seizures. Why is that? In Canada you would be in big trouble if you called it a ‘fit’. It is a seizure.
Every country uses different terminology. What the medical personnel in each country choose to call a seizure is their business. Everyone knows what they mean when they say a fit. Isn’t it ironic your name is Karen? Very appropriate, I’d say. 🙂🇨🇦
I had an anxiety attack on top of Blarney Castle. Getting down those stairs was a nightmare. One person walked down in front of me and one person who held on to my jacket.
All that effort spent on that doper and as soon as he's up again the same thing will happen again and maybe with a fatal result. Must be very stressful for the crews to have to repeat it over and over. Keep up the good work!
He is human. So he is cared for! More sucks that you have to help people even if they go aggressive against the person's who wanna help! You don't know his story. Why he got addicted in the first place. Maybe he had a personal trauma. Maybe he has issues (physical or psychological pain).
They don't have funny accents as the EMS worker said,it's a beautiful accent I think, want to talk about a funny accent, you should hear me,I've been told I have a hillbilly accent.LOL
Good that the men were there to assist the women. In this series three women have been promoted but none of the men. Were the women promoted because of their skill or to fill a quota?
