sativagreenthumb he definitely gives the most interesting performance for me personally. He balances the comical aspects of his character really well with the dire situation they’re in. Plus he’s the only one to survive. But really I just adore Buscemi and think he’s an amazing actor
He is in now way underrated, not only is he famous in the actor world but he also famous in the meme world and internet culture, he is one of the most famous actors.
If you hear carefully in the end there is gun fight after the police arrive at the storage building and then mister pink screaming that means he got arrested
Buscemi is a key ingredient missing from most movies. Seriously such a total chameleon. Had he come up during the 1970s he wouldve been among DeNiro, Nicholson, Pacino- I love how solid his roles are; you see him in Reservoir Dogs- he is nothing but that hysteric asshole thief. See him in Boardwalk Empire- he IS the 1920s crime-ridden gentleman. I bet he would make a great Sherlock Holmes too. He shouldve been cast in a Kubrick flick.
Steve buscemi is fricken awesome, I recently found during 9/11 he spent the entire week digging through the rubble at ground zero. Absolutely one of my favorite actors
During the entire video, I kept hearing, "So you have no frame of reference here, Donny. You're like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie and wants to know."
I love how he keeps running, cussing at everyone to get the fuck out his way, meanwhile, some dude cusses him out and he manages to keep running while cussing him out, lol!! 3:01 Steve Buscemi is the man!! *"I mean everybody panics, everybody, things get tense, it's human nature to panic, I don't care what you name it you just can't help it."*
You may have a point in the spirit of what you said, because Steve does have a long stride. However, Steve Buscemi’s running form overall in that chase scene is terrible. Carrying the suitcase was not helpful, and made his arm carriage really inefficient. His head position is also very inefficient for sprinting a quarter mile, let alone a mile. -Someone who ran cross country and track in high school and college, and still runs a lot.
Interesting effect. I found myself studying Buscemi's facial expressions more than I normally would in a movie, when we're bombarded with all (of in some case just enough of) the necessary visual and plot information to make sense of it. That final closing of the door speaks volumes.
He gets arrested if you listen to the sound. There’s a shootout and you hear the cops telling him to get out of the car when Mr orange tells mr white hes a cop
No man , you can hear him get arrested through the audio LOL he got arrested. He didn’t run away from the cops, the cops got him , but he audience doesn’t even know where the diamonds were stashed
Not entirely true. There's a completely different "minimum wage" for servers. When the federal minimum wage was $7.25, the one for servers was $3.15. when the minimum wage increased to $7.50, servers stayed at $3.15. I've lived and experienced it.
I agree 100% with Mr. Pink on tipping. I never tip unless they're actually good. I've seen several people tip generously when we barely even got our food.
You gotta have the "i blasted my way out" intro tonthst amazing set piece.. its one of my fav set pieces in cinema.. nothing like it was done since Dirty Harry , and nothing had been done like it at all in its style, modern, very realistic. Tarantino was like a lot of people, dudes, who before this being actually done, could see it in their minds eye and think, yeah that would be great, why not, guy being chased by cops in Broad daylight should go like this and this.. but he actually could do it.
@@searchingfororion That's true hehe Actually there were multiple cases around the world, where mass of people just recorded person drowning or been in life threatening situation without anyone to help, it's sad what today's society becomes
@@CarpeDiem23 it's not just today I remember there's actually a term for this in psychology based off of an incident where a homicide occurred in a highly populated area but no one called the police because they assumed someone else would. the incident took place somewhere between like the 1920s-1940s. The witnesses were genuinely horrified and concerned for the victim, but because of the high density of populace they all assumed that someone else surely must have contacted the authorities already. it's late for me and my brain cannot remember what the term is for this particular psychological occurrence is.
The reason this video has 27k views but only 500 likes is because the Oda, the creator of One Piece, mentioned that sanji was based off of Steve in this movie, so everyone decided to check it out
hm... steve is one of the few actors where his facial features remain the same, but his face just looks... different. And not just the age. Like it got smushed vertically.
For some reason I didnt think Mr. Blue talked throughout the entire movie, but you hear him talk here in this scene (hes the one you hear saying "I used to like her early stuff")
