Resetting to reconnect Apple CarPlay and your iPhone on F150 or any Sync 4.

If that doesn’t work , just turn off your phone & turn it back on. That fixes my issues , I tried this it didn’t work for me hope that helps ..

This worked for me, but beware. We were towing a trailer at the time, and the fix appears to reset to gain on Ford’s integrated trailer brake controller to 0. Happened to us twice; the first time was alarming because I had to brake suddenly and the trailer brakes didn’t engage. The second time that I reset CarPlay as per the video I immediately checked the brake gain: Zero once again. Moral of the story: If you’re towing and use this hack, check your brake gain and if necessary, reset using the + and - buttons under the brake controller paddles.

Is this the same as the RESET in Settings? That works but I lose all my radio presets. Not a big deal except this happens to me every couple days
