I can’t tell how terrifying it is to see a badass like Leon Kennedy suddenly put into a situation where he’s literally just a rookie cop on the first day of his job. Grew up with Residents Evil 4, after playing through Resident Evil 2 after last seeing him mowing down zombified villagers around 8 to 10 years ago to seeing him just being an everyday guy in a horrible situation really changes the perspective of the character.
I hope RE8 goes 3rd person again, but toned back the action/survival horror like this remake. *Edited the toned down part as it made it look like I'm not liking RE2's direction.
Won't forget the first two days playing this game. Beat it the same weekend I got it, love it. While many people complain about the story not being fleshed out like the Original, the basis was still covered and the visuals are too stunning not to play this over and over again. I really love this game and it is my second favorite RE game after the OG RE2 of 1998.
This game is arguably the 'perfect' remake. To anyone considering buying this do, because you'll probably do 10+ runs of it and love it. I couldn't put it down the moment I started playing it and stayed up for days so I could finish it so that says something. It get's better with age, these games are like fine wine and this one is served so well. Great job Capcom and all involved!
@@irfaniqbal4752 If you didn't read all the lore in RE4 or play it much you could probably still get a lot out of playing this, the stories are different for the most part so I'd say it'd still probably be worth your time to try it
I see the "badass" action craze is in Resident Evil fandom as well. I am so tired of seeing that word. No offense, but it sounds like something a teenager would say.
A Nemesis that, beside rushing to catch you, comes from above, smashes walls to get to you, that hears you from afar in case you do some noise and pursues you, ambushes you with surprise attacks.... Oh, all the possibilities Nemesis could do as an overwhelming antagonist.
From what I've seen with the demo, there's no way the PS4 or Pro will come close to PC. The settings potential goes up beyond 8 GB VRAM, which is quite rare. The textures are very good. With PS4 you'll get an average experience, but ignorance is bliss. If you don't know what you're missing, then you won't miss it. If you paid all that money for a console, you might as well play on it. They seemed to put a lot of attention to detail in this game and it looks like they did it right.
Even when I've played the whole game and squeezed all the juices out of it, still watching the trailers I have chills. Great, dense atmosphere. Waiting for Resident Evil 3 Remake!
Can't wait to play this. It brings back Memory's when I was playing this masterpiece in 1999. Now with this new graphic it looks more beautiful and powerful.
My Dad played this game when it first came out. When he heard that I liked the resident evil series, he bought me this game. Even though he played the game years upon years ago, now, me, his daughter gets to experience what he used to love :)
This and 4 are tied as my favorite game of all time, this game got me back into video games when it came out and i still play it religiously to this day. Probably have like 30 saves on my ps5 alone cant wait for 4 remake
I have this game still on PS1 and still love the game and now it's on PS4 Xbox one it's even cooler this game is a classic that I will always love and the reason I loved Resident Evil after playing this game.
I worked at a place that sold movies, games and consoles and one day I was putting out the new releases. I had Zero knowledge this game was even being remade, I bought a copy before I even put the rest out
It will soon be 5 years since the release of this wonderful game that changed and saved the series from flop. I remember watching this trailer 5 years ago. Crying
@@Reggiezombieyeah bc RE7 had triple A budget for the game content & marketing...too bad Revelations 2 was a Single A budget game with bad marketing from 2015 that was terrific!
I haven't been this excited for a game in a LONG TIME. Even though I know the story everything looks so fresh and new! Its time to go back to where it all started....Racoon City
I still think we need a game with the same gameplay style but with a open world Racoon City which you can fully explore. I never got tired of Racoon City. I loved the destroyed look and feel of the city in the night with zombies everywhere and here and there a few people still alive. It was nice to see a bit more of the city in RE3 but there is still so much unexplored in the city which I would love to see in a later spin of title of RE
Same thoughts man,it really pis me off that we have to run around in a police station while out there is a big city to explore,I mean I want to explore the zoo, raccoon city's college and more, and to know what kind of horrible monster that we haven't meet yet are walking around through the streets of raccoon city...i was hoping for a bigger raccoon city exploration in the 3rd remake but nope instead they gives us just a little city area behind the place where the events of resident evil 2 remake happens...there is still hope in a outbreak remake to have the chance to see more of the status of the city, let's hope.
The most best horror game in the franchise and I love how the developers made the g-virus and the mutation is the best and endings of ada and annete was heart breaking
I absolutely loved the demo, I love the amount of Fidelity the game has, it looks beautiful. I just cannot get over Leon's voice actor though or the way Claire looks
@@derekcjain I know. I'm just riding the hype train at this point with more wishful thinking regarding Outbreak. They can put those assets to good use!
And after that, we would just need to update Code Veronica. And as a side note, that could be one more opportunity for gamers to see Albert Wesker again, and Capcom might have to creatively come up with a way to portray his abilities, that fits the more grounded tone of the classic game remakes, while still referencing how fast and powerful he has been depicted in the newer games’ action set-pieces.
I’ve been wanting this remake ever sense the remake of resident evil 1 on GameCube. Huge fan of this series and it’s a great time to be a resident evil fan!!! Thank you Capcom for listening to your fans!! Your going to find a lot of success with this game and I feel entitled To ask this but can we get a resident evil 3 remake next? Lol Thank you Capcom!!
I'm surprised how this remake is verily thrilling. Great Job Capcom! And I just gotta say it's genius to combine the gameplays from re7. Liking it,Lovin it😉👍sure hope I still got some money left to buy this game
Micheal does life must be on the verge of having a heart attack, or aneurism by now. Maybe both! It'll be amusing to listen to while I'm playing this game 2 days from now x3.
I had played with this game in 1998 and now with this remake and i can say that's RESIDENT EVIL 2 REMAKE it's the best Game and the best story for ever.. Perfect JOB from the creators and designers 🎩🎩🎩
@@Visitormassacre it's definitely claire redfield vs william birkin you can tell its her cuz when Leon says Claire get out of there she is facing and when annete say you don't what your up against I have a feeling she says that to Claire when birkin transfirms into his final form
@@alexferrier5732 I have a feeling its claire Mr x shoes are like trench boots also look how it's setup mr x falls through the roof with Claire in the room and Leon telling her to get out I have a very good reason to believe its Claire redfield
The Remake of the first one for GameCube was entitled just Resident Evil. Like the movie "IT", was just "IT". Of course the remaster of the Remake for newer generations was entitled Resident Evil HD Remaster. So, there is no need.
Finished this while memorizing all the fricking weapons/item i hope re2 remake well put randomly all the weapons so it would be fun for me finding where they are
