The fun part about Claire’s campaign is the variance in strategy. I’ve platinumed this and I’ve watched a lot of playthroughs and guides just bc I love this game, but even years later you’re the first one I’ve seen really use some of these strats

Entire gameplay was done on 60fps for my console fam :D but if your console has performance mode or you have a pc that can get 120 fps I def recommend it as it makes the knife do more damage! Good luck on your runs and hope you having a good day ♥♥

Bro this is incredibly insane you're a real pro at RE games it took me about 8 hours to just finish Clairs campaign because the frame rate keeps drop from 30 to 12 or below instantly all the time with having 50% image quality. But seeing you playing the game is so satisfying and makes me happy for having seen how the game looks without frame rate dropping and poor image quality. Thank you so much it means the world for me. This walkthough is so pure that I enjoyed watching it more than my own walkthrough. Unfortunately my pc got so bad that I barely managed to finish Leon's campaign and never had the chance to try it on hardcore. the same thing also happened with RE4 remake. Thank you so much. I used your Leon A guide and got S+. This was a bit harder. I kept dying at sewer plant Birkin so I used my 3rd save there before the fight and died about 12 times. Then beat him and went all the way through and finished in 2hrs 27min 53secs. Got my S+ and gatling gun. Awesome walkthrough you make it a lot fun. Did you know you can just ignore the guy in library that eats another one near ladder? He will aggro on you only if you interact eith ladder :) nice tactics and nice walkthrough! Will wait for Scenario B for both Leon and Claire and maybe even RE3 :)

THANKYOU FOR THIS GUIDE!!! i was gonna do a test run of my final save with at with 19mins left before 2hours, ended up finishing the game in 1hour 59mins and 41seconds. talk about cutting it close. also followed your leon guide. now i have all the infinite guns.

Thanks for your video! I realized I was using the infinite Samurai Edge which took off my S+ for Leon so I just used the infinite LE for Claire with your strat. Made the playthrough really easy! Idk if I want the S+ I just wanted the platinum trophy!

i died once in the lab because my controller died i need to restart from the sewer but is all done. I didn't expect claire's part to be so much easier than leon, this is really good guide thanks brother

First the cat ears, now the minigun - your guides are the best, Leon's S+ is next! I rage quit in the middle once though due to terrible RNG, got cornered by Mr X and a licker... but came back a week later and went through with 0 deaths. One thing I did differently: at the part when you are running from Mr X on the streets, I simply ran past the zombie gate and let them break through, looped the Tyrant around and waited for the zombies to wander away a bit. Trying to stun one through the fence with console aim and Mr X on my back sounded too stressful :D

Excellent guide, my man. I followed it to the tee because this game gives me anxiety, and i beat it in ~1:42:00 with only one heartbreaking death.

You don’t have to explode their heads for them to be dead. Once they stop moving after you shoot them - they’re dead. Great guide! This is my favorite game on the RE engine!

The way the knife works in re2remake is it’s dmg is based on let’s say “hits”. Each “hit” is one frame that the knife is inside an enemy hit box and on higher frame rates the knife “hits” more. It’s also the reason the knife’s durability breaks faster on higher frame rates.

I'm playing this on Xbox Game PASS. Great guide. Very helpful. Made it to the second save point of this guide and this is my take so far: #1 First boss. Your strategy was effective but not perfect for my experience. It took me 15-20 tries and was only able to beat him with no damage once, which was definitely luck. Boss can be knifed 15 times initially but the follow up grenade stun only allows for 5-6 more swipes before he recovers to grab or swipe at me. Due to the faster recovery shown in the video, I had to resort to dancing around while knifing him, trying to stay at his back as much as possible. One health restore required. #2 42:10 There's a much safer strategy than what you suggest in this segment with Mr. X. Your strategy here relies too much on timing, precision & luck. You have to hope that Mr. X is at a far enough distance behind you to allow you enough time to stand and shoot the zombie enough times to stun which is random. The first time I tried it this way, Mr. X clobbered me from behind after I barely got off two shots & then I got sandwiched into zombie grabs. No chance to go to inventory and heal. Was almost at the second save point and had now had to start all the way back before the first boss fight. Nearly rage quit. A much safer strategy I found is to kite Mr X to the fence so the zombies knock open the gate & follow you away from the entrance. You can kite Mr X around the cars or even double back around through the garage to return to a zombie free entrance & it only adds an extra minute or so to your playtime. No quick sharpshooting required. #3 I would suggest waiting to use the second save until AFTER getting the King & Queen pieces. The "poop" monsters have hurt me a few times but they haven't killed me once. The most annoying part is having to dodge that zombie multiple times while doing the King & Queen chest piece puzzle. Still very doable without taking damage. I took your advice about when to save though and regretted it because I've died multiple times during the second boss fight and am having to repeatedly do the tedious segment beforehand. Your strategy for the boss fight is very good but doesn't leave a lot of room for error with executing the right timing and accuracy(Haven't managed to hit his eye once yet). It took me several more tries to get the timing right but we'll see how it goes from here. #4 1:10:35 I made it all the way here, following your steps. I'm literally seconds before the final save. As luck would have it though, I turn around to find both "lickers" right in my face completely blocking any path of escape & a split second away from bumping right into me. I quickly use a flash grenade but I still can't get past them. They hit me. I Heal. I try to walk past them. Can't . They hit me again. Dead. Yeah, I think I'm done for today...

Oh boi. At the Sherry part I messed up and had to go all the was from Birkin 1. I was so scared thought of safing right after I made it but did not- The rest was actually quite easy and successful but the RNG Laboratory Ivy part messed me up too because I couldn't deal with the Boss there had to do the 2nd safe couple of times too. Well the very end was tight for me cause I had no more rounds left and Litterly made it with the whole Minigun, 1 Grenade I think 2 flash grenades and the Beginning SLS Revolver. My time was 1:56:03 S+ Thanks a lot bro you sound very chill and realxing and it was a enjoyment playing along espacially because of the alternative you gave if not all things go to plan 1:1 big heart 💜

I just "discovered" this game...I played the original on PS1 ages ago, then stumbled upon this remake as a freebie from PS Store, downloaded to PS5 and had a peek at it...big mistake, LOL, cant stop playing it, to the point I stopped cold playing Elder's Scroll Online which I was into, as it turns out RE games are highly addictive, I put 18 hours completing Leon on Standard, got a C Rank which I am not too proud BUT got all the Mr. Raccoon going for the infinite knife and now I am at the Garage as Claire, not in a hurry, objective is to unlock the infinite knife then I would go try hardcore for the S+, as always, impossible for me to do it in 1.5 hour as you do, I always operate slowest than most specially managing inventory, I am not fast and that adds up but between your guide and couple others I think it is possible for me. RE4 I found it to be more difficult to play then this one. You know soon I will have new sub-names for the characters here just as "La Cucaracha" from RE4 Remake, LOL. I am thinking a good name for Williams, wonder if "Cuatro Ojos" works? LOL.

This is a great guide, I am using it to be faster enough to get an s on standard first to get the infinite pistol, doing it in hardcore is gonna be hell 😭, I don’t know if in hardcore enemies have like, a lot more health but in 1:08:50 you can actually use the acid bullets for the lickers, two acid bullets are enough to kill them so I think It would be better to use 4 on the two of them instead of using it in the other zombies, I mean is not neccesary really but I am def the type of guy to kill things if I Can to avoid as much risk as I can LOL, also another tip I have is that actually if you break all of the orange things first on the plant people and then they fall, just one fire bullet is gonna be enough to finish them! Although of course with how little resources we are able to get in this kinds of runs shooting at those first might not be the best idea

IDK if you know this but theres a some handgun ammo behind the left case you push to the right in the lib. IK the handguns suck in this game but its free extra ammo to mag dump zombies with lol.

Knife damage is calculated based on per frame the knife is inside the enemy hitbox. At higher FPS the knife has higher frame count inside the hit box so damage is higher. Say the knife takes 0.25s to pass through the hit box so at 60FPS that is 0.25x60 = 15 frames of damage. At 120FPS that is 30 frames of damage so 2x the damage.

Hello to all my console fam, I’m not extriaa but I do have a tip for Williams first boss in case you don’t wanna use 2 grenades All you need are 2 knifes,1flash and a grenade(recommend to bring at least one first aid spray) You’re gonna knife the hell out of him for a few times till his eye pops out and when that happens make sure(really make sure) that you keep on circling around William and when he’s on the ground just keep on knifing him till he recovers, which is when you’ll use your only grenade! Also once you do that be careful cuz he’s gonna lunge to grab you and it’s pretty obvious when he does it, now always assume he’s gonna grab you after the grenade and try to keep a safe distance when he’s suddenly at your front switch to the flash bang immediately and he should grab you afterwards once you use the flash bang to get out. Immediately just start knifing him(make sure to switch back to your knife) your main goal is to break at least one of your knifes while saving one more(the second knife is if you’re too slow to change into the flash grenade)
