RESIDENT EVIL 4 MOVIE LEAKED?! || Is This Necessary?

I'm not looking forward to an RE4 movie adaptation if it's a continuation from REWTRC. So many missed story beats that were left out from the games would be missing. The Leon and Ada interaction story arc was not in REWTRC. Ada showing up at the end credits was only there for nostalgia bait. Any Leon and Ada interaction in RE4 movie Adaptation would be pointless. If they just go ahead as if the 2 characters know each other already than they would be doing it out of context from the REWTRC movie and just doing for the sake of nostalgia baiting from the RE4 game. I also can't see the scared, lack of self confident Leon from REWTRC being a competent and confident stronger and agile special agent.

I think it's actually sad and ironic that Welcome to Raccoon City is probably the most faithful live action RE adaptation we got despite that movie thought it was a good idea to combined the entire Raccoon City saga into one movie.

I feel that RE4 has some of the highest potential for a resident evil movie. There is a cohesive story that isn't mucked up by puzzles and constant backtracking like the first 3 games are. You could even keep welcome to raccoon city canon by just changing a few things between Leon and Ada if they really wanted to tie it in. My only issue with using 4 is that it doesn't really tie into anything else unless you plan to do 5 as well. So it's very hard to create a universe based off of it. There is no virus, no relationship between Wesker and Leon, no significance to the villains (to comparison to the larger universe). The only thing it ties to is the last plagas being used as the base for the parasite that creates the Majini in 5 and the plagas being used as a control method for bioweapons as seen in Vendetta I believe.

I like cheesy scary movies but WTRC was not it I remember seeing the ending credit scene like "oh no another 1 is coming", hope this is not true about RE4 film if it's going to happens stick to the animated movies please, imo Capcom knows how to keep the actors, & actress in character like the games unlike the live action ones as well as resemble them as well.😘

I understand most of the fans reactions to this news. Imma be honest & say that even I don’t want another Resident Evil live action adaptation, even though I did love & enjoyed WTRC. At this point, Constantin films & other studios are just so money hungry that they’re jumping on the bandwagon & it’s just getting tiring at this point. As much as I wouldn’t mind seeing another film, I too DO NOT want this to happen.

The movies and Netflix series were trashhhhh. They must be stopped. Fans have to be vocal about what we want and how much we hate these adaptations. They need capcom to lead a movie or else we don’t want it.

If they have Avan Jogia playing Leon S. Kennedy, I'm all for it. He is my official live action Leon. Let's keep going with RE movies, just think of them existing in a RE multiverse.

I have a wild idea: maybe they should choose a caucasian actor that actually looks like Leon; maybe, just maybe, they should write a compelling story that actually respects the source material and our beloved characters. If they did that, then maybe I wouldn't feel disgusted at the announcement of new live action RE movies.
