Resident Evil 5 Remake...Next!? 

Resident Evil 5 is one of my favorite games of all time.❤ So many priceless memories as a teenager playing with my friends, playthrough after playthrough... I don't know if I can even imagine what an RE5 remake in line with the last three remakes would even look/play like. It's fascinating to think about but worries me quite a bit. Either way, it'll be a day one purchase.

5 was the first RE game I ever played so I would love a 5 remake

I think it would be a better idea if Resident Evil 1 or 0 was remade first.

You have to make things make sense by linking them up properly. Instead of always going back to an origin story. Which is always cool 😎

RE5 was an absolute blast back in the day, but before we dive into that nostalgia, we really need a remake of Code Veronica. So many young gamers missed out on that gem! Sure, they can watch videos, but there's nothing like experiencing the story firsthand

RE5 was not my first but in an odd way it’s my favorite. Playing co-op with friends in the survival horror style of RE is a rare experience. The game would hugely benefit from Code Veronica being remade first to better establish Wesker as a character. Since there are relatively few die-hard fans compared to the other RE games they have a lot of freedom to change the game. The remake would be a huge opportunity to make a masterpiece.

When/If the RE5 ‘re-do’ happens…..consider rebalancing the aspects of action/horror elements. Maybe dropping co-op from the main story and make two separate campaigns for Chris and Sheva. That could make the play through more tense. That and partner AI wasn’t the best when playing solo in the original. Retcon ‘Wesker’s death’ to there no longer being ‘Wesker’s death’ And no punching boulder sequence

Well code veronica would be the first to do! As they could use the same voice actors and have a backstory to go with.

RE4 didn't really need a remake and nor does RE5 or RE1. But CV definitely needs modernising!

Horror was too scary growing up, but I played the re4 remake and got to experience the magic. I really hope they remake re5, so we can play co-op. Don't listen to the fake controversy, zombies are world wide and can be in any culture and country.

They already told you that they're not revisiting that Mansion anymore that Mansion is a thing of the past they can do whatever they want we've moved on passed a scary house they can redo that we've already done with 7 why would we need to go back to the spinster mansion if you guys don't pay attention they literally remade one right before they started doing the two and three and four remake it was a remastered it was a complete HD remastered there was no need to remake it because they had enough technology to remastered they don't need to retail the same damn story

does make me wonder what they may do with 5 since they changed the ending of 4 slightly, I honestly would not mind removing 6 from the timeline to go in a different direction after 5

Honestly RE5 remake should b more like fallout/Skyrim but only open enough yet still work like RE8 dose layout and open up like a metroidvania eventually opening up completely within the boundaries of the map layout, the chapter stuff has got 2 go it wuz never a good idea 💡

If they do 5 first that will be stupid. They need to better explain Weskers back story with RE1 and CV.

1 makes a bit more sense now, they can tie lore together with the hybrids seen in Village and 4, I love the games but “btw giant spiders” might have been harder for new fans to swallow prior to playing 4

Let me tell you something for your younger crowd of newer RE players. And veterans of the series. If you are playing to an audience that has never played the older games! Then the Re1 remake should be next in line for the story plot. Or else it just won't make any sense. We haven't seen Chris in Re2 3 or 4 remake. So releasing Re5 with Chris would be like who?? For the newer fans, regardless of Re7 and 8 having Chris in it. We also don't know or understand Wesker, Sexy Jill Valentine more thoroughly and more. As a 25 year veteran of everything Resident Evil. I can tell you it doesn't matter to me which game releases first. I know they will all eventually get a remake, it's just for the fans who are being introduced to the series and game for the first time in general. That is all thanks

I hope they remake RE5 well, but change a few things that lead into RE6 remake being a completely different game. RE6 was alright imo, but I'd rather it slightly connect to the stuff in RE7 and RE8.

Needs to be 1, veronica, and then 5 if capcom wants to cater towards the newcomers of the franchise. That is the only way the story should be told, and im a lifelong fan. What's the point in releasing them any other way?

Resident Evil 0 and Code Veronica are getting remakes as we speak. The story in 0 is bad and capcom wants to make it better. Code Veronica is what people have wanted for a long time and Capcom has paid attention.

Really want an RE5 remake with RE Engine But I think it's a contrary to say you like RE5's art style but the background gameplay has a disabled piss filter 😅. No hate here just an observation

No i want RE1 first. Finish the trilogy. They already got 2 and 3. Do 1 then 5 then CV.

At this point, I don't think we need any more Resident Evil remakes. Code Veronica, maybe. But RE1HD and RE5 still hold up. If they are going to remake 5, I guess I want better Sheva AI and more co-op modes, but the graphics and gameplay still hold up. The remakes and remasters are sort of out of hand in this day and age, like the Horizon remaster, Until Dawn remake, TLOU remake, Silent Hill 2 remake, look a lot of these remakes are good, but I want to see a new Resident Evil game that either builds off of RE2Remakes gameplay, or another FPS Resident Evil that's as scary as 7 was and nothing like 8. More new games, less old games. I've gotten all the RE remakes I wanted, I think the only think that makes sense is Dino Crisis. A complete reboot, building and expanding off of the original. After a Dino Crisis remake, I think a Resident Evil/Dino Crisis crossover would be the sickest new survival horror IP ever. Zombie dinosaurs, that if not burned, turn into crimson heads.
