At 48:18 for me is by far the most touching emotional part from the whole scenes. When the classic music starts and brings back memories during RE2 when Leon was holding Ada on his hands while she was wounded from William Birkin... That was when both Leon and Ada realized that they had feelings for each other... And Capcom just did this part as a reminder when they just look at each other before their farewell..Almost brought a tear.. Just great Job for Capcom.. Couldn't done it better....
I want a Resident Evil game/movie with all the characters, like a reunion. Leon, Ada, Claire, Chris, Jill, Barry, Rebecca, Ashley, Sherry, Jake, Sheva, ect...
I really doubt the producers will ever do that. It would be nice, but I highly doubt it. I like to think they could wrap things up that were involved from the very first game. Obv Alex Wesker will have a part to play from Revelation 2, as will Raymond from Revelations 1. It's a shame they killed off Albert in RE5 given that he was the biggest villain in the series. Perhaps the old stars crew could have one more tearful reunion, before the majority are killed off in a final battle. Frankly though, I don't know what they could do plot-wise that hasn't been done already. They've done global catastrophe, deep sea monsters, deserts, ice-caps, the only thing they haven't done is zombies on the moon! I tell you what would be interesting...if one of the original heroes turned bad. For instance, maybe Steve from Code Veronica...
I thought that this was the best game because of the incredible voice acting. Wesker has always been my favorite character, but his voice is laughable at best. Sheva and Wesker (minus his voice) were the only reasons that I enjoyed the fifth game. I don't understand all of the complaints for this game. Leon's VA did an incredible job especially!
Leon's VA for this and RE: Damnation was Matthew Mercer. I got to meet him over the weekend and not only is he good at VO work, but he's a really nice guy.
All of the VAs in this game are phenomenal, and hell few games or stories ever touch on characters developing PTSD; Chris has it in this game, Jake and Sherry are severely traumatized characters, and we watch Leon start on his way to severe trauma as well in this game; which last I checked is what results in his drinking of his pain away at the start of the film featuring him, Chris, and Rebecca Chambers Phenomenal stories (especially for action games)
From why I hear, most of the complaints are of a dumb story and the game being a generic third person shooter (let’s be honest- story has never been a strong point for Re games.)
murat balamsa not every complaint looks dumb. While I’ve never played RE6, I don’t need to in order to know that inventory management and the frequent overuse of quick time events suck.
murat balamsa because you can’t pause the game to discard any items if you need to pick up a new item during the middle of a struggle. See Protonjon’s play through where he found multiple items during battle he couldn’t get for some time because enemies would keep coming at him even when he opened up his inventory management. That freaking sucks- especially when the game throws you mere seconds before a battle like those rooms in t gun shop. While I get that pausing during online mode is troublesome to get past, there’s no excuse for areas like the gun shop where you have no time to discard items if needed. Oh yeah. Speaking of Protonjon, the game seems pretty buggy at times. Not too often, but a lot of those times- the bugs can result in a soft lock.
It took me 3 years to notice Helena was literally pulling down on the trigger to shoot Ada after her sister was shot. What a tweest it would have been if Leon hadn't stopped her.
He still has an sense of humor. For example, the monster on the plane. He asked Helena, "You don't suppose that thing know how to fly an airplane, do you?' :)
they sure had been together before, there's a part at resident evil damnation movie were ada says " when are we going to carry on from what we left up that night?" or something like :p i hope they end up together! Leon in the friendzone since 1998 cx
I played Chirs The whole time and still Piers grew on me from the beginning. after watching him die I don't think I can handle using him in the campain. So I can but wonder how you feel. God help you. RIP Piers, The best kick ass hero in Resident evil History
two of my heroes lol I have to say, that scene was perfectly done. Chris has more brute strength where as leon has more skill but in an overall performance they cannot ought one another. It's like ken n ryu in street fighter... both are equal
♡Midnightfury as cArla said, it sucks to be member of Chris' team..jill was kidnapped, piers died and many other chris' team were dead hAhaha...well luis sera died besides leon btw but i think leon will put his ass later to save others, so it's saver with leon rather than with chris
I am a huge fan of Resident evil ever since the first one i love this game despite all the bad reviews. we just have too hope resident evil 7 is even better!
I agree!! I liked Helena as soon as I saw her. I liked her even more after finishing Leon's campaign. :) I hope to see her, Rebecca, Claire, and Sherry return to the next RE.
Leon must be happy dancing inside his mind when he saw Ada and then received her text and a parting gift after the devastating look he had hearing about her "death" :P
I love to meet people like you! i'm sick of hearing the same thing over and over too, i'm a RE fan since RE1, but RE is not just survival horror, the "so hated" RE5 and 6 are amazing!
I know probably their probably just good friends...Leon can have all the female partners he had like Claire, Ashley and Helena...but he goes for the one not interested...Ada
I do think Ada's feelings for Leon wasn't as immediate as his, but because along the way of their mission, her love grew from then. You could say their relationship is complicated, like a mouse and cat game. As much as both want to be together, duty will always be on their beck and call. Despite that, i don't think Leon have forgotten her over the years, same for Ada. I believe they had some time together off-screen tho :)
Thank you for pointing that out~ I just love the little details like that, that they've put in this game. I was always amused by that part where the reporters are bugging Chris.
Oh shut up. It's called maturity and change. RE4 was about finding the president's daughter. RE6, he's forced to kill the president and watch innocent people die. Alot happens.
ada and leon are crazy for eachother but it seems they never get to tell eachother still i hope they can get together as a couple sometime arround resident evil 7
After all the shit Leon has been through since Raccoon City, I would have figured he had developed a "shoot first ask questions later" mindset when he is dealing with the virus. So much hesitation...
AyameKia13 True to that. Even with years of experience, having to shoot your very close friend can be quite traumatizing. It's the last thing I'll ever do, should I be placed in their shoes.
Leon didnt know that the black suited Ada was Simmon's Wife.Well the First ada was sutied up with a black pants and red suit and the second one is the black suited Ada.
Poor Leon, everytime he gets a chance to speak with Ada is only in the middle of an outbreak with thousands of zombies trying to eat his guts. I wonder what would happen if they ever get on a date?!!!!
At 48:20...they are playing that same music when Leon was nursing Ada's injuries in Resident Evil 2 after she was hit by Sherry Birkin's dad aka The Tyrnat's claw.....in scenario 1, it was the security room when leon carried ada there....in scenario 2, it was on the caboose elevator after fighting William.
I feel sorry for Leon. He tries to get answers from the bitches he's with, (what's up with that shit anyway?) but never gets them it's always "I'll tell you later" or "it's complicated". Wow... just his damn luck. Wow...
Yeah i know man, i saw some of FF cutscenes and they look pretty amazing tough! :) but since RE is my fav franchise i pay more attention to it, and at least for me they are the best cutscenes, they look pretty damn realistic and FF too like you said, both of these franchises are kinda old, and it is amazing to see how they evolved :D
Shotaro Suga, the maker of Degeneration and Damnation which are both CGI RE movies, stated in an interview that Leon and Ada had an off-screen romance during RE5. But I dont really know, some say it's just rumors.
