06/01/2023. Quando eu era pequena escutei essa música enquanto meu tio jogava. Era pequena demais para entender o que ele estava jogado mas esta canção ficou marcada em meu coração. Aos 5 anos eu cantarolava essa música e quando finalmente a encontrei me desmanchei em lagrimas. Essa melodia representa pra mim paz, tranquilidade, felicidade e infância. Hoje, aos 20 anos posso dizer que me sinto feliz a cada minuto, a cada segundo que escuto esta linda canção. Eu sinto que ela lava meu coração levando a tristeza e o medo embora. Meu deus amado, quando eu partir me deixe ouvir essa musica só mais uma vez? Por favor. Obrigada por fazer parte da minha infância, obrigada por representar cada minuto feliz em minha vida, obrigada por ser meu momento de alívio...🍃💜

This is the game that had me get a Dreamcast. My PS1 broke and I loved it, hated it. So I went to Funcoland to get a refurbished unit, they didn't have any. Browsing the store, I saw this game on a DC and the rest is history. I still have the DC and Code Veronica and a GamePro guide.
Back when RE was all about atmosphere. The designers understood that and it shows here. Anyone who played this game remembers this tune so fondly because it was so rewarding and comforting in the midst of such suspense and fear. You never wanted to leave that room and face your fears again.
+Thanos of Titan Thanks to Mikami. Have you seen Resident Evil 3.5? This was Mikami's intended Resident Evil release but Capcom said fuck no. RE4 was good but RE3.5 was a great Idea.
+Ali Haidar Yup, I've got all of those on PS3. I wish Sony would get with the program and let us download these classics on PS4 instead of renting them. Their current model for PS4 sucks the big one.
This song is my favorite save room theme by far cause it makes me actually feel safe and relaxed. Like when I come home after a really bad day and my girlfriend gives me the biggest hug, At that moment everything feels like its gonna be ok. This song makes me feel that same exact way, like “stay here, Your safe now, everything is ok”. This was my first “M” rated game (in the U.S. “M” is the 17+ rating) and I remember it so fondly cause I thought I was the coolest guy around even though I was still to scarred to play it alone in the dark and I hadn’t made it past the first 2 hours of the game till years later but theres so many memories in this game
This theme really shook me to the core in a good way back in 2004 during the PS2 days I just got out of school, and went home feeling empty, it was raining literally all day!! And I fired up the PS2 to play this game cause I just recently bought it off someone who didn't want it anymore, and paid $20 for it. While I still felt empty playing it. I'll never forget my first time stepping in the save room. It chimed my soul... It was relaxing especially since it was raining. And it got better, I was still in the save room had it on pause. Cause my X-Girlfriend (Girlfriend at the time) came over and brought me lunch from Jack in the Box we both enjoyed our food talking and this song was STILL going on in the background cause I had it on pause. Lol *sigh* good times literally it rained two days straight!!

Well, IMO, 2000's probably the last era where gaming felt special. Sure, there are ocassional masterpieces here and there after 2010, but monetization and many factors really ruined gaming.

This brings back so many memories, played it when i was a very little kid scared shitless constantly. This song honestly makes me remember claire and steve, i know some think he was a shit character and i originally did too (when i was a kid). Now that ive replayed many times, i love their little moments and everytime i hear this i remember steve saving claire from alexia and the little sad cutscene afterwards.
I've always find this music very hauntingly calming, it's like someone saying "don't go, stay a little longer" this theme really has a very welcoming and relieving vibe to it Code Veronica will always be one of my favorite resident evil games...
@@DerickC_ The only good thing the reboot has... is just the updated graphics, because there is no story, no lore and much less decent campaigns in this reboot! The reboot has never been and will never be better than the classic.
Si es algo que me gusta de los Resident Evil es el concepto de la psicología y el terror, siendo los cuartos de salvado una manera de representar nuestro lugar seguro a donde vamos despues de pasar un mal trago, esta música da la tranquilidad que el lugar representa para cada uno de nosotros, porque siempre habrá un momento de alivio
TikTok brought me here, and for someone who’s never played the older games the save room soundtracks are so calming and has this sense of eerie but safeness it. It makes me wanna learn or get to experience RE and to see how much the older games have so much nostalgia
I don't know if other people think the same way about this tune as i do but i think that not only is it beautiful but it is also absolutely frightening. When you think about what Resident Evil is all about . . . all the pain, all the death, all the sorrow, all the absolute fear knowing you're death is going to be painful beyond measure . . . this piece of music reflects both the light and dark of a situation as bad as everything that happened in the game.
Of course. That's why I said "[...]with some worthwhile games that don't hold our hands." We got some masterpieces last year like Nioh, Cuphead, Nier Automata and some more. Games with decent challenge unlike most AAA titles that hold players' hands too much.

I liked 2002 Resident Evil movie the best sad scene to go along with this theme when Matt shot Zombie Rain at her head and Alice looking at undead zombie Rain lay Dead on the Train
I remember playing this cool video game. It stressed me out and it kept me nervous the whole time; however, entering a save room with the typewriter and hearing the relief theme music gave me a huge break and I could actually inhale and exhale in relief knowing I was safe temporarily.
