Jill be like "I'm too tired to stay awake, better to lean on something and take a quick nap" Meanwhile Chris "damn there is a camera there, better to act cool"
I found her line there funny, coz if you got the Chris only ending or best ending, you know that he died, but jill is like "he has to be somewhere out there."
Mansion: Doesn't Explode Jill *Who Let Barry Die*: I'm sure everything will be fine. The TVA: So, you kinda dropped the ball here, I'm sorry, but we're going to have to prune you. Jill: *IS ACTUALLY A ZOMBIE*
Yeah, that's exactly why I'm saying that there should be a new ending with both Barry and Rebecca surviving since they are both established to be alive, and that one of the two are absent from Chris's (Barry) or Jill's (Rebecca) story and are implied to be dead.
i find it crazy that i accidentally saved chris as i was playing as jill. i beat the tyrant and i was just searching the room and there was a room i could open if i pressed the button on the computer in the back. then when the self destruct was going off i went to the last room and what do ya know, chris just chilling there lmao. was so surprised.
I always wished there was a secret super bad ending where none of them survive. Like have to the time run out and they all die. And like have the cutscene show Brad calling someone and confirming there deaths
Back in the days when I played the remake of Resident Evil 1 I never got an ending with the Tyrant's eye shown at the end. Then one day I got such an ending because I let Barry die by refusing to give him back his gun, and it actually scared me because I thought that I may have known pretty much everything about this game by then. But I got surprised by that slightly different ending.
I'm playing rn. I never knew that there was such an Ending. You just skip the Final Boss fight with Tyrant. What the hell. We know that ending isn't cannon. Good question. Which Ending of which scenario is cannon? By how much Wesker hates Chris I'm gonna guess Chris' Route. I can't believe there's an Ending where the Mansion doesn't blow up. Looks like Chris is alive after all! Well he'll probably starve to death.
No one talks about this, but the shot at 12:37 COMBINED with that background symphony is quite poetic, cinematic and beautiful! If only it lasted longer. Masterpiece nonetheless! Well done Shinji Mikami!
It was the first ending I got for Jill many many years ago, but still stands out as the most memorable. There's a new wind on the rise, and Jill's nightmare is over... for now.
Late but you can save scum right before choices so for example any ending that needs Jill or Chris to be alive just save before leaving with the self destruct and that saves ya like 4 runs (2 for Chris and 2 for Jill )
You could always play it through once as each character and make sure to save at all the major points, ie right before saving/killing Barry as Jill and before the Tyrant boss fight as either, so that way you can just reload saves and go again from there for different endings. The game gives you like 12 save slots so it shouldn't be too hard if you really want the endings.
7legendary His nickname is chickenheart because he is a bit of a coward. He abandoned the team in the beginning of the game. He also gets killed off by the nemesis in RE3 and can be seen wandering around the Raccoon City police hq in RE2. I guess it's good he at least stayed nearby so he could rescue the survivors of this game
First of all. It’s a helicopter not a plane- idk how tf you can confuse the two- they’re completely different and look nothing alike. And his name was brad- idk when he died but there’s a few Easter eggs and mentions of him in the re2 remake
@@theredeft5319 Well, yeah, true. But analyzing a bit the whole thing he actually was more of a pilot than a soldier. I mean, that's the main task he's called for, in the Stars. Would had been not reasonable at all to going with the others, leaving therefore a no more escape option -- we need to assume that Jill, Chris, let alone Rebecca etc weren't able to properly control an helicopter. Considering that basically the time lapse of the events occurred in Resident Evil (this game) is more or less a night, maybe from evening to dawn, he remained on patrol instead of escaping away or returning at the HQ etc He did his job pretty well, in sum :-) Yeah, in the second game his appearance was a joke, basically. What IMO failed hard was the Bravo team, save for Rebecca and Enrico. I mean, take Kenneth, for instance. In the lore is described as second to no one, like Enrico... then is killed basically by the first bald zombie :-P
@11:33 This is the first time I learn about the mansion does NOT explode! I thought the mansion explodes in all of the endings, but I love how they show you someone transformed into a zombie in the mansion.
I always thought the mansion in the endings didn't look like the actual mansion. The real mansion has a large part and with different roofs behind the front part that they show. It never was just one straight house. 0:28 that's just the front of the mansion right? So where's the rest?
Literally one of those most frightening games ever produced. But I have a question that I feel compelled to ask any RE fan...Which version do YOU think was the hardest? I personally feel as if the Ps1 version was the hardest.
I got that ending the other day, and was very confused, I also forgot where rebecca was and never found her in my Chris campaign. I was on freaking easy mode too, so there was that added shame as well.
This was early on and Wesker hadn't mutated as in later installments. I would think he was infected at this point to a degree otherwise he probably wouldn't have left the Tyrant room in one piece after an injury like that as he did in one campaign.
Jesus, how the hell do you get all these different endings? Also which one is canon? With Chris, Barry isn't in the game and with Jill, Rebecca isn't in there... so which one is it?
mitch-bittens All Endings: Chris/Jill: save Jill(Chris) and Rebecca(Barry). Activate self destruct system. Good ending •Save Jill(Chris) and Not Rebecca(Barry). Activate Self destruct system. Good but no Rebecca(Barry). •save Rebecca(Barry) and Not Jill(Chris). Activate self destruct system. Good but no Jill(Chris). •don't Save Jill(Chris) and Rebecca(Barry). Activate self destruct system. Bad ending. •don't save Jill(Chris) and Rebecca(Barry). Don't activate self destruct system. Worst ending.
+Hi Im Dizzy there really isnt a canon ending. because they all survived the incident. you could say Chris's best ending is possibly canon as they don't quite explain what happens to Barry and he could of got away somehow .
Yea basically if she gets near him she will knock him off with one swing. Same for wesker. Id recommend attracting her with your own gunfire (if she does not follow you on her own) while pushing the stones off.
I got chris ending 5 as Jill lol I never killed Barry before so wanted to try something new.. so I killed the tyrant with 1 shot with his magnum. Thanks Barry
The eye in the ending it is not for tyrant , because tyrant i think very weak we can't compare him with nemesis The eye in the ending for albert wesker Because wesker appear like super monster in resident evil code veronica .
hshshs ssjjs no in umbrella chronicles you can see how he escaped the mansion and in that game he wasn't mutated and he wasn't a super monster in code veronica he was just wesker with powers
I have 2 questions in these endings 1. In Chris Ending 5, is Rebecca still alive?? Or she's dead?? 2. In Jill Ending 5, is Barry still alive?? Or he's dead??
@@AdamBarkerThe Then go right upstairs to the helipad and that's it. Gotta say. It's the easiest Ending but the non-cannon one. Though it's really interesting.
How do you get the best ending where the mansion explodes and everyone survives is it the same like the original or did they add more? I never played the remake before
im still in the mindset that the remasters are just that - remastered while the originals are the original storyline that the current storyline from the series (RE4-7) follow. otherwise these endings dont make much sense. that goes for the remakes as well unless we get a "remaster" of RE4 next...
@@fidelgarcia2224 obviously not every single ending here are canon. i know that. rebecca is alive in the latest movie where shes much older. im just saying capcoms habit of retrending the RE series makes for a lot of possibilities for something like the Survivor side games in RE2 remake (hulk, kendo etc.) but it makes the clarity of what is canon a little more blurry when they do that too much
In the lab (final area) there's an optional door you can unlock by using 3 MO Disks in 3 different areas of the lab. I think the first MO disk is in the mansion. Last 2 are in the lab. After you unlock all 3 locks you find Chris Redfield in a prison room. You have to unlock his door with a switch in the tyrant room. If you don't save Chris then you get ending 3.
@@suavecollects49 they put the first MO disk in the mansion to fuck with us. i got the two in the lab and i was like "hell naw im not going all the way back up there"
so is it like based on the characters u rescued and ur choice to blow up the mansion or not? then what's up with the ones that has a zombie at the end? does that mean chris/jill turned zombie at those endings? but i thought its gameover if u die or get infected, right?
+AdamBarker89 as a slighty better explanation. Example, if Rebecca sn't alive to set the self destruct, it wont blow up. nor will the final boss occur, yes?
barry/rebecca have to survive and along with chris or jill. so you need to make sure barry lives at lisa and save rebecca from the hunter. get all the mo disks for the end of the game and release jill/chris before the lab self destructs. Make sure they don't die at the final boss either since that will ruin the ending.
So you have to get Barry or Rebecca killed as early as possible. I think Rebecca with the hunter and not giving Barry his Gun and killed by Lisa. Then after that you play it normally and with Wesker you can find a key so you can use the Self destruction Sequence. Don't do that and instead go upstairs to the helipad and then no Tyrant Boss fight. That's it. So for short: Don't save Barry/Rebecca, and Don't use the Self Destruct sequence.
Who's the eye that's looking at the helicopter? Sorry asking because I'm not going back through this fucking game again. Too hard not as fun as like the last two or resident evil 4. I get it it's old but it's ass now
Theres a secret ending with all 4 of the savable characters (Chris, Jill, Barry and Rebecca) which you'll need to play as jill to do, I cant remember the specifics but theres a part of the map that needs to be hacked into to unlock the secret ending which is near the end when you save Chris from the cell before escaping to the roof to fight the tyrant, its probably an illegal mod to the game but I've seen people do it on the old playstation 1 version so it should be doable on the remastered version
I'm watching this because I'm sick of all the boring as fuck waste of time backtracking in the game. Edit: I'm glad I stopped because these are some pointlessly terrible endings.
So, here’s some hypothetical headcanons as to why Rebecca wasn’t in Jill’s story and why Barry wasn’t in Chris’. So, after RE0 and prior to Jill’s story, Rebecca looked over the mansion for a bit before deciding “I’ve had enough zombies for one day, fuck that shit.” and went back to Raccoon City to report Billy Coen as dead. After that, she left both S.T.A.R.S and Raccoon City because she knew of Umbrella’s involvement in B.O.Ws as she encountered them and refused to live in a city run by them, thus forcing her to also leave S.T.A.R.S and probably go back to college so that she could canonically become a university lecturer. During Chris’ story, Barry becomes a total badass and disregards Wesker’s blackmail and heads back to Raccoon City in order to tell his wife everything. His wife understands and decides that it would be best to leave Raccoon City like “Okay, so Umbrella is evil and we are in a city controlled by them. We are fucking gone. MOIRA, POLLY! GRAB YOUR SHIT, WE’RE LEAVING!” thus, having them relocate somewhere else. I know that, canonically, Umbrella Chronicles is what RE goes by now since it shows Chris and Jill working together in the mansion before escaping with both Rebecca and Barry but, it’s nice to theorize and stuff, no?
@@dhlhthriwdhskissos9606 actually was pretty cleaver back in the day you haven't any idea of which ending was canon, it was left ambiguous to promote hype, later in other games they needed a continuos timeline and give us a canon ending
The original cannon (long before zero was thought up) was Chris, Jill, and Barry escaping. We know this because of what Marvin tells Claire in the original Resident Evil 2 and also from Chris's diary in the original Resident Evil 2. Later, it was updated to be changed to all four when Rebecca became more important/popular. Also, the books always had all four of them escaping together.
@@AdamBarkerThe why many endings ? this game has many endings , my ending was jill and chris taking the heli , barry and wesker died , and i kill tyrant , because he doesn´t appear at the helipad
