Welcome to this new series where we collaborate with our VJ friends all over the world. In this first episode we are combining forces with Sleepy Circuits and use their Hypno video synthesizer together with Resolume Arena and Wire to create some cool visuals.

This is my team's FAVORITE video synth (we have 3 lol) and love running it into Resolume. Basically our minimum rig for any show

Not sure that it really matters for these kind of visuals. While we were testing Hypno we never had a moment where we thought that we needed a higher resolution/frame rate. It is all glitchy generative stuff anyway.

@@ResolumeVJSoftware my team runs plenty of low resolution synth into Resolume. I personally love the variance in resolutions on a big screen. It's kind of become our style to mix the HD and SD looks

@@toddphonic I was planning on doing a video synth course for Wire.. but I'm waiting for a couple of new features before I'm doing that one. For example: we are modifying some effects like UV-offset/Flip/Mirror to also work on the textureChannel type.. That will improve the video synth workflow a ton. In the mean time, would I make you happy with a "let's build a video-synth"-video? I won't make a scripted tutorial, just me talking and showing off some techniques for video synthesis in Wire? I could mash that together next week 😁

@@ResolumeVJSoftware thats super exciting to hear about UV-offset etc! Incredibly kind of you to offer and Hell Yes that would make me happy! I have a specific ask regarding that, but ill post that in the forum.
