The wail tone on the original GE powercall is actually the best tone... it has a deep slow wind-up and wind-down. Its often forgotten and rarely used. But trust me, it is awesome. And doing on manual is equally dope.
I agree!!!! You need to intermittently BLAST the air horns for at least 2-3 seconds…I HATE when drivers or officers “toot” the horns or “flutter” as they call it…sounds like absolute shit and plays major hell on the air valves
When I was growing up my grandfather was a deputy chief so I spent lots of time watching firemen do their jobs. Back then the drivers fought the fires too. They'd have three guys hanging on the back, two up front and two sitting in an open cab. Specialization has led to more efficiency I guess.
I can see the fire fighter on the right pulling the chain to sound a horn to remind the motorists up ahead that there’s a fire engine coming up behind them
