Those stories about rejecting girls because of WoW, are unbelievable. Look, I'm an introvert, there's very little you can do to make me leave my fucking house, except if you are a girl. I never miss an opportunity. Sometimes nothing happens, but sometimes it does. There was no guarantee that that day you would have lost your virginity, but there's always a chance. I don't get to meet many girls very often but when I do, and if their show interest in me, my introversion and my video games go out the window.

I disagree on the pokemon comment if they releases pokemon blue today everyone would buy it even if it was trash

I would love to see you talking about the data you got from disgruntled blizzard middle management. maybe if it's not good enough for a main channel video, but I think it might be interesting.

I don't play wow, never did and probably never will, mmos are not my thing but i've been watching asmongold for a while and got to know wow through the dude. Saw his reaction on your video and now just got through this one, even if i don't play the game i work on games myself so it's interesting to hear what people have to say from the player perspective about the same problems that are around the industry but plague different games (slow updates, non comunicative, pay to win, don't have the pulse on the playerbase and more game specific issues). I think what is plaguing blizzard is a big mix of multiple things. for starters being around for so long means that a big chunk of the og people with the vision, skills and experience will have left over time. new people come in bringing different ideas and lacking the experience and knowledge of the internal workings to keep the machine running properly. As the company grows, bureaucracy on top of staff bloat and loss of key people means that now the whole thing is much more difficult to course correct. Factor a over decade old tech debt with the game engine they're using, stubborn devs and nonsensical dev cycles (from what i hear like having patches pre planned two expansions in advance and having little wiggle room with changing stuff) and a passionate, sometimes to their detriment, playerbase making things more difficult and current trends not being in favour of mmos. Final cherry on top of the cake is the merger with activision and the whole mountain of scandals and you can see why it has been declining as a company for the past 10 years. At the end of the day i don't work for a huge studio or take important decisions, i'm one of those making the cool 3D models you see on screen, but i still work on games and watching the slow fall of wow is quite sad to see even for me that i never touched the game. Hopefully i won't do the same mistakes if years down the line i end up managing my own team of people making games but for now at least this is quite good insight on what mistakes needs to be avoided

Guys stop asking for wow 2 or a remake. Look at warcraft refunded and diablo immoral and imagine what you would get. Take the game as it is or leave it like the rest of us. Next thing i could imagine being as good as wow wotlk is probably amazon games lord of the rings mmorpg. Not because i think the devs are super talented or did all the right choices but new world had good combat, exploration and great sounddesign and ost. Add lord of the rings to that and the game is already great. Until then i play path of exile, northgard and half life alyx/beatsaber depending on what im looking for.
