Ngl using slingshot has been so fun. Its extremely useful with most characters

Stuff like the slingshot makes me glad Nintendo announced they were done patching the game. It'd be tragic to see it removed because it is so sick, Ult's meta just leveled up.

My only issue is I've barely seen anyone lab this with heavies. I'm wondering if there's even anything for us.

well at edge the only unpunishable options for optimal sling use would be a full on retreating jump out of shield into offstage, which is a bad place to be in anyway. Really cool stuff i love what ur doing here.

Gimr, I love that you're embracing the meme status with your back to the lab transitions, it's great. Also as others have suggested, a back to the lab meme review video would be great content

Idk why but it was really cool to see this type of video. Just sort of a dialogue with two high level smashers about how they can continue to progress the meta. It feels like getting to peek at how top players discuss/look at the game.

Zelda mains can now slighshot the phantom displacement instead of attack cancelling (if they weren't flicking to slingshot already) Zelda down throw to lightning kick on DI away is now easier to do Inkling fthrow to bair is a true combo starting at 0% and requiring DI in at higher percents (although you are better off doing upthrow to upair anyway at low percent) Inkling can do dthrow to reverse nair to bair at low to mid percents ZSS can do falling fair to bair to bair, or bair to flip kick at 30-40%

I found something weird: using Kirby I managed to slingshot then airdodge in to the ground ending with what looked like a wavedash. Can someone check this??

Quick question: is that Squirtle forward drift fair you controlling both characters, or is there actually a way to have the CPU drift during aerials in training mod? Because as far as I know you can't set them to drift like that, and I would love to be able to have the CPU drift like that OoS

How does doing flick shot with diagonal differ from doing it with straight back? I do irar with straight back and I can’t see the difference unless it is just more consistent to make sure you don’t accidentally get dash back

Very interested of how this tech will affect the Tier list. But in general and what I've seen so far, I think the rich get richer while bottom tiers (and heavies) will continue to suffer. Gonna need to see a dedicated comparison across all characters to really make any judgement.

Can you, or anyone else in the comments, research Bayo or Mii Gunner Slingshot. Bayo's fair boosts her upwords, and Mii Gunner's launches them back. These are underrepresented characters with a lot of tech potential. So labbing from the source of the tech could help ''raise awareness" for these characters --Thank You

I know you both agree that Nair shouldn't be used after T-Jolt with Holdshot but I went back to the lab again and I found that it combos. On top of that it lands so low you only get the verfirst hit before it cancels. I'm having trouble figuring out why it's so bad. Can you explain that for me?
