Peter is unapologetically himself and he owns his mistakes. He calls people out and holds them accountable. He’s FAR MORE genuine than half the influencers on RU-vid. Also, I would recommend The Golden Girls over Gilmore Girls. The Golden Girls is FAR superior.
Sending or receiving any p material with a minor involved period I believe falls under CP. If someone knows otherwise feel free to correct me, but I believe even just sending P to a child, even if the photos are of adults can technically be punishable!! If not, it should be in my opinion. I think minors can even get charges for sending P to other minors! That could of course vary depending on the location. But when done online I believe you can run into the territory of federal crimes! Very serious charges if applicable

@@HadenBlake should be life in rikers if we’re using prisons as a way to separate people from society. I don’t have a non angry answer for what should happen to pdf files in an abolitionist framework; that information is well studied and is definitely out there, but IMO when people are serial child predators and we don’t have a current system other than prison to deal with that, 10-40 years is embarrassing when there are people in for life for unaliving their groomers
Peter is a beautiful person and at his core, he is all about accountability and honesty. It's why he never backs down on James, it's why he isn't backing down on Colleen, it's why he doesn't let Jaclyn dismiss her scandals with a quick cry. He is also very balanced, eg how he has called Trisha out in the past despite being chummy with her way back when, but immediately showed sympathy for her for what happened to her in this mess. He is a good person and I've been watching him for years, since the Tati video dropped. I stayed because of his character.
The whole aesthetic of Gilmore Girls is what makes it an autumn show. Just like the set design and the outfits. Plus it’s so wholesome, def recommend for casual watching

I've seen a few eras of Peter and this is by far my favorite. As soon as he came out about the stalking he's been dealing with, he's been so no nonsense and says it how it is without fear. Huge respect for Peter 💙💙💙
Peter and swoop are 2 of my absolute favorite creators. Both are straight to the point, blunt, honest and savage when needed. Swoops docs are iconic and I am so happy to hear that you are so close with then within the RU-vid community. Noone better to have your back through all Colleen's disgusting behavior.
I almost wet my paints with laughter when I watched this video with Peter. And I'm glad things have happened the way they have. I don't think you understand how many young lives you are saving. All this mess might not have come out if she had apologized. Adam, you are Amazing, smart, strong and a leader. And look at the horrible issues that are still being uncovered. God Bless You.
@@Peytonscomet He had seizures a long time ago and they stopped, he hadn’t had one in a very long time and was cleared to drive way back then. He did have a seizure that came out of no where while he was driving and got into an accident. It wasn’t something he had control over nor did any signs of a seizure present itself. So while yes he was in a car accident which resulted in injuries it was not his fault. I don’t see how bringing up a seizure caused car accident negates the fact that he’s a great man and deserves a lot after all the hard times he’s had in the last few months now.

I love Peter inside and out and have for years. a few years back my sis got me a Peter cameo, it expired so she renewed it and he still sent me two for the price of one and they were over a minute long each vid. I have so much respect for him especially as the child of an addict alcoholic mother.
I really appreciate you making these reaction videos to the commentary surrounding your story! I have been sharing/spreading the word and trying to only share sources like swoop or others who have spoken directly with yall survivors rather than a rando youtubers opinions not based on facts or representative of the true feelings of the survivors or supporting some other kind of narrative. I've been compiling a playlist of all of the relevant content surrounding this controversy, and a few of the creators whom you've mentioned in your reaction/response videos have come up a ton..but feel more inclined to include more of the outside perspectives/reporting knowing that you personally approve of the message they are putting out there!!! I also think another cool thing about you doing this is that its not very often that people are making videos in this format reacting to reactions essentially and I think it gives the youtubers making this type of content and interesting and useful perspective into the way that they report someones story and how it makes them feel either supported or not! As well as humanizing survivors to both content creators as well as viewers because so often become characters in a story/gossip/entertainment and I think the way you are very open and vulnerable with the way this has affected you and continues to affect you reminds folks that behind these stories are real people with real feelings with parents who love them, with full lives that are forever impacted by this kind of abuse and manipulation of power dynamics!
GILMORE GIRLS IS A VIBEEE it's like it's nothing amazing but it's so comfy and yes I'm sure Rory will annoy you as she annoys everyone but that's kind of iconic in itself. Maybe it's because I related to her when I was younger but whatever it's enjoyable and fun and I like it A lot

If you love Orange is the New Black then you'll love Wentworth. It's an Australian version kinda but the acting is amazing and whoever did the casting did an amazing job. Like at first there's this mom named Bea (love her character) and she has a teenage daughter named Debbie, and they actually look like they could be mother and daughter.
Has anyone seen his channel Peter likes books. I highly recommend it. I love reading but if I don’t get hooked in the first part I’d never read it. I’ve read so many new books cose of him and as someone who is pretty sure they are dyslexic but havnt got the money for a diagnosis I thank him for not only naming easy reads but fascinating ones. I think we all need to take a hard look at Colleen, Kory *and* Trent. I feel Olivers story kind of gets lost (not intentionally), but it makes me wonder how many other minors Trent messaged in this way. Same with Kory. Same with Colleen.
Her ego wouldn’t allow her to apologize to you for over 3 years, Adam. I think that whole paying for 2 hours from a lawyer is pretty accurate and her ego won’t allow her to pay that attorney to help her write an apology. As has happened so many times before, she’s largely responsible for her own problems and downfall.

And she loves Peter Monn, so you know they’re both lovely creators ❤ I stopped watching Peter’s videos for a couple years, but when EDB started mentioning him in videos that she’s watched, I started watching his content again and I’m REALLY glad I did. He has a couple opinions I don’t particularly agree with, but I respect him having those opinions and hear him out, like any levelheaded adult would do lol I appreciate his honesty and perspective a lot.
It's really weird to me that people don't even like the idea of de-platforming *creators who have 100% used their platform to gain access to and groom members of their child audience*. I get that de-platforming could, in theory, be a slippery slope - but I think it's pretty fucking safe to kick the literal verified child predators off of the internet and never let them come back.
Watching Peter is like a ritual these days. I love listening to his singing and his stories. I don't mind he's lengthy video and I watched your second channel. It's a must do for self care 💅

Has anyone watched Gilmore Girls!! It defined my entire life! It's absolutely worth the watch, it's one of the best WB shows of all time. The writing is so snappy and fun, it's very 90s/early 2000s kitsch, and it has that 'small towns but cute and quirky and idealized' hominess. 10/10, would absolutely recommend. If you want something fall based they have Thanksgiving episodes.

Hourly rates are the norm when it comes to lawyers. Colleen isn’t facing criminal charges or going to trial. There is no reason for her to have a lawyer on retainer unless you are filthy rich or a company. Paying them their hourly rate for their advice & work is how it’s typically done
2:50 Honestly I’m so relieved it’s pronounced “Cole-leen” because my mom’s name is Colleen, but she pronounces it like “Call-leen” and she’s like the polar opposite of Ballinger. So having even that slight verbal distinction between their names makes me feel a lot better.

Actually yes Gilmore Girls is basically about the three generations of Gilmores and how they interact and grow. Literally follows from when Rory is a kid in elementary school up into her college life, her mother Lorelai, and her grandmother Emily. The show is filled with a lot of genuinely good humor and a LOT of emotion and I can always go back to rewatch the whole series. Also has Melissa McCarthy in it and the humor is so quick and snappy and even the kid actors in it are good and we really dont see anything like this nowadays. Oh and the show is very much very seasonal and its a lot of coffee and fall feelings in Gilmore Girls.

Hi Adam Ik you get so much love and support already but I wanted to just personally say thank you for being so incredibly brave and inspiring i have gained so much respect for you not only as a creator but as a human being for the way you have handled this whole entire situation with Colleen. As someone who is an SA victim and other sexual trauma survivor Ik how incredibly damaging someone taking advantage of u can be especially as a minor as i was with my situation so i want you to know if u don’t already you should be so incredibly proud of yourself for how you have held ur head up through all of this. You have truly opened my eyes to Colleen both me and my best friend have been Colleen fans since we were like 11 or 12 (now we are both 22) i never truly understood how horrifying her content was all those years. I have never had a personal relationship with Colleen however i do believe her content led to me being put in those SA situations as i was desensitized to many things through my favorite creator Colleen. Your channel has actually caused me to have many serious conversations with my boyfriend about how i want to make sure to age appropriately educate our future children about predators like Colleen online as well as the ones i experienced in my life so that we can protect them. I just truly want to say thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart and i wish you nothing but love. I don’t expect nor need a response just want you to know you have truly impacted peoples lives by sharing❤️
Gilmore Girls is worth the watch. It is my comfort show because of the fall vibes and also nothing bad ever happens. It’s a story about people with no real problems so you can really escape reality lol but the characters do get annoying after a while!
Hahaha I am currently rewatching Gilmore Girls, I don't like the show at all but its just one of those shows you can just have on or put on and it just makes you feel ok. I just don't like it because both Rory and Lorlei make me cringe.
Peter's video popped up in my recommended, and I'm so glad I found his channel. An amazing person who, in the few videos of his I've seen, has shown himself as someone who isn't ashamed to admit that he's had a dark past whilst being, as far as I can tell, authentically himself, and I've been given no reason to doubt him.
Love Gilmore girls. It is a very cozy show😂 used to watch it with my sister all the time. I think I’m biased because of that. Anything that I used to do with my sister before she passed away is something I hold close to my heart.❤️ (Gilmore girls is kind of boring but I still stand by my first statements)😂

Netflix has put out content that’s incredibly dangerous for survivors of heinous crimes and serial violence/abuse/killers. They’re not as pedopilled as RU-vid but I doubt they’ll do more than the bullshit su!cide bait like 13RW did and slapping a disclaimer on.
