My landlord in the US (which is a couple not a company) raised my rent 400$ the same month my bf was going through cancer radiation treatment and when I asked if they could delay the increase one month due to the intense cancer treatment they we're like "lol no I don't care were rising it NOW." I'll never forget it, fuck landlords Edit: appreciate everyone being so kind!! It was really sweet, luckily my bf is in remission now (after three rounds of treatment) and we are doing ok. But moral of the story is landlords may be people but sometimes they don't treat their tenants that way.

I remember when all this went down in real time! I was SO unbelievably excited for Emilia to meet Trish then Emilia basically disappeared off RU-vid after this meetup. Her side of RU-vid was so beautiful, funny and artistic. Brought me a ton of joy!
I remember her continuing to post many videos after that weird stuff happened with Trisha! Although definitely less frequently than she had before. I was never sure if the Trisha thing itself was a big part of why she gradually posted less and less, or if the timing was more of a coincidence. I know all the stuff with Trisha affected her negatively, but it actually seemed to me that her mental health improved in a lot of ways after the obsession with Trisha was broken. She talked a lot about taking steps to improve her mental health and challenge herself with her insecurities, plus trying to put herself out there to find romance. So I always thought it was possible that she was posting less because she was happier and more engaged in her life offline.

And i don't think I've realised how badly this has affected me until I told my counselor to confirm that it was indeed grooming. We are having a huge housing crisis because of a lack of affordable housing, not lack of housing, lack of AFFORDABLE housing My rent for a 2bed1bath 800sqft apt cost 1700 a month, and just two years ago it's was 1100. There's nothing that puts any limit on how much a landlord can increase your rent at anytime.
Shane is always in the middle of every drama. I always coined him for a mean girl and gossip king. him being the biggest instigator is not surprise. That type of behavior always comes to bite you in the ass. I honestly remember that Emilia fart era vaguely....hm. smh. My personal opinion, he planed the meet up with Trisha and Amelia! Trisha told Shane with the plan that’s why Shane stole the idea. How else would Shane know? Shane also said peter wasn’t invited cause Trisha and him beef? Such a weird thing to say. She probably told Shane the idea and talked bad about peter with Shane and they decided to steal the idea from peter. She doesn’t like drama channels, she binge watches them all. I think we all need to remember that Trisha was on a myriad of drugs, wasn’t properly diagnosed, and was still friends with Shane. I am NOT defending her in any way, shape, or form, but it’s wild seeing her growth.
She has never been 'diagnosed'. Her online therapist mentioned she had some signs of BPD and suggested CBT. Trisha has claimed to have bipolar, schizophrenia, BPD, the list goes on. Her growth happened after having her child, because she knew CS would get involved if she continued her ways. It's all for show and protection. Wild that people defend someone who has done all the stuff she has done, plus a domestic abuser. If this would a man there would be no forgiveness. The sexism and hypocrisy is what is wild.

I will say for California rent prices, it HEAVILY depends on where you live. I currently pay $1300 a month for a 2 bedroom but I live downtown in a crime heavy area of a known bad city. In the nicer areas of my city rent nears 2000 for a 2 bedroom. In LA it’s known that prices are going to be RIDICULOUSLY high just because it’s LA.
I feel like everyone records with her for the video but Peter just wanted to know her, so she isn’t used to that. So she comes off bored and confused because this doesn’t feel like work, it feels like someone genuinely talking to her and trying to make her comfortable being Trisha, she seems so raw Trish in this.
for the conversation about housing, I want to say that California is an extreme outlier in how high prices can get. Same with places like New york city, Atlanta, etc. But if you don't live in those areas, rent can easily be $1000 and its even been $600-800 in some of the areas i've lived in
I was paying 1450 for rent near the the Metro Detroit area for a 3 bedroom house (specifically in Ferndale). We (my bf and I) bought a house and now paying higher than my rent (the interest rates are WILD) but it’s our house and we can do whatever the hell we want to it. ACAB, but to landlords.

Those prices are usually in California and New York. The price for EVERYTHING (rent, gas, food, etc.) are insane in those states. That’s why so many are moving out of California. I live in Texas and would never live in California.
