I was contacted by an agent to do a sponsored video for S2L Recovery. After several persistent emails, I decided to go see what they were doing, what made it different, just see it for myself. After my visit I was so moved by what I saw and experienced while I was there, by the stories of the lives that had been restored, the families that had been saved that I was compelled to share this with you. The curse of addiction has impacted almost every family in America and my family is not the exception. This is an UNPAID endorsement of S2L. My honest heartfelt opinion of their service. I was an achoholic in my teens and twenties and replaced alcohol with meth and was on meth from 28 years of age until I was 49. I always had a job because I knew no one would support my addiction but me so it kept me under the radar so to speak. By the time I was 45 I was sick of that life but could not quit. Finally after turning 49 I asked Jesus to save me and prayed to God for help. 7 days later the police raided my apt and took me to jail. I lost my job and my home but spending a month in jail sobered me up and I was finally free . I'm 56 yrs old now and have been sober for these 7 years . God answers prayer and he NEVER gives up on you. God bless you all !

@@debc7341 I went to AA meetings , took a drug assessment test and took U,A's twice every month plus the M.A.D. class . I did those for a year . Not once have a had a craving for meth or alcohol. I've had the drug dreams and woke up ashamed until I realized it was just a dream. God took all desire for drugs away from me . The dreams were of me sitting at a party and drugs were being smoked at the table and I would be pushing them away from me and running towards the door to get away and then I would wake up.

Hello Brian, I am so very happy to read your comment and deeply grateful to God for healing you. Would you please pray for my son Chris today he finds himself in a terrible situation and is most likely facing jail time. He has mental health issues and deteriorates quickly under stress. His name is Christopher and I am his praying mum. I feel so strongly that God has hand on this situation and that if Chris opens his heart and trusts,he will be healed and filled with His peace, hope and strength. I was addicted to opioids and xanex for years. I tried rehab and the AA program but relapsed. December 26th 2021 I surrendered it all to Jesus. I didn’t know if He would help me after all I had done. I was so scared but He was faithful and He did save me from addiction. It was so hard you can’t get over the detox and the mental anguish with a snap of a finger you have to have something to learn from. But God heals you He carries you and restores your heart and mind and brings joy back to you. My heart feels for addicts and I pray that they turn to Christ.

We pray in the name of Jesus that Brenda may come to hold her identity with you Christ Jesus and that you and Almighty God the Father break the chains of the spirit of anxiety which is outside of her and also move her to a choice of happiness on a moment-by moment basis. Happiness is a choice no matter how dark things are and we know God how hard it can be when a cloud seems over us but we know that we can stand in YOUR shadow of protection from any depression and choose the next best feeling, even if that feeling is just "okay for the moment." We know God that you can cast away any unclean spirit, any generational curse and anything demonic that may have a hold here. We pray in the name of Jesus that Brenda have true freedom in Christ as her identity is not depression, her identity is not anxiety, her identity is in you, Jesus Christ! Amen.

I just shared this with a friend whose son is a perpetual addict. He stops only while he is in jail, and listens to Bible teachers, but NEVER changes. Please be in prayer for him. When my daughter was deep in addiction I tried to get her help but the only thing available was thousands of dollars and we couldn't afford it. Prison got her clean after 2 years in COVID lockdown. My daughter was a Christian and an alcoholic with gender issues. Secular rehabs did not work for her. Until she found a church that loved her unconditionally, she could not find freedom. She eventually really turned her life over to Christ and now she is married with two beautiful baby boys which is a testimony in itself. She is free from all drugs and alcohol. God is good, all the time! 💕 🙏 ✝️

In retrospect, we are both grateful for the experience because it brought us both closer to God and to each other. She is the worship leader at her church and does regular ministry at jails and other places. She is an amazing person. It was definitely hard to see her struggling with addiction. It changed my viewpoint and compassion level for addicts for sure.

First, Miss Scarlett, think of this interview as a first date, maybe a setup by a friend. You are interviewing THEM as much as they are interviewing you. All you can do is show who you are, and in return, you ask them what they are all about and what they value. Just as in courtship, it is all about whether you are a good fit for each other or not. It is NOT about them accepting or rejecting YOU! If you have prayed about it beforehand, and it is God’s best fit for you, the way will open. If it’s not right for you then no matter what you say or do, it will not matter. It won’t be a match, and either you call it that or they do. It is not that you are not good enough or they are too demanding. So performance anxiety, begone! I have hired many people and let go a couple so I am telling you this from an experience of someone who has been there in both sides. Be brave, be confident that your Maker will lead you to the right place. God bless you in your search!

God bless you Ms. Becky. Please pray for me. I just lost my brother. He was a alcoholic for so many years and we found him dead just recently from overdosing not just alcohol but other drugs. I'm still mourning his loss. I tried to get him help but he just kept refusing and denied needing help. Good for you! We lead Christ centered Family Support meetings for those with loved ones in addiction so they can learn to find peace and hope through Jesus Christ. Also it's a safe place to find support and support one another through Christ centered principles.

Becky, I’m so glad that you’re there and showing all of us with this recovery center is doing. I am so glad I watch your channels on your cooking. We always put God first and I just think this is wonderful and you drove five hours to get there god bless your heart.

Wow your commitment is very inspiring 🙏 Thank God for places like this my son needs such treatment but to get him to admit he has a problem is the hardest..But God is able to deliver him I PRAY SOONER THAT LATER...blessings
