Restoration of old D12 diesel engine | Restore and repair old D10 diesel engine
In this video we find an old Chinese D12 diesel also known as D12 engine. This motor for plowing has not been used for many years. The device has rusted and a lot of dirt on the surface is no longer working. we worked very hard to restore and repair this D12 diesel engine and for many working days we have completely restored this D12 diesel engine and function properly.

Học nghề này không khó dễ như cơm mẻ chỉ cần tập trung làm theo là được đi học trên 7 tháng hay trên 1 năm là biết hết ra tiệm sửa lun mai mốt con sẽ giống như mấy chú đi học hỏi và có nhiều kiến thức

Considering what you have to work with as far as tools, You Sir did a good job.. Consider cleaning the carbon off the grooves on the piston with the old piston rings and an attempt to clean the journals on the crank, maybe polish..Also clean the Head as well thoroughly and valve seats.

Put a layer of grease on the surface before the gasket, then the gasket won’t move. Should have laped the valves.Thanks from.St. Paul Minnesota.

Suggestion for your next rebuild. On these types of engines, you need to remove the rust and scale from the water jacket area in the cylinder block and cylinder head. By soaking the entire engine block and cylinder head in a barrel filled with hot water and CLR or any other rust/lime dissolving chemical this will improve the heat heat exchange into the water jacket. Also, by adding a water pump, fan and radiator, you will extend the engine's life and then it can actually be used more heavily than was originally designed. Lastly, when running this engine in the future, do not use plain water, use a mixture of water and a light cooking oil if you do not have automotive type coolant/antifreeze. Good job in the restoration work. Keep it up. You are doing a great job!!!

I enjoyed this immensely. Remined me of helping my dad work on engines when I was a kid. That is a great little engine. I had never seen a hand crank all mechanical Diesel before. Who was the manufacturer? I wonder if they were imported to the US? I bet that is very useful. You did a great job!
