A retired judge said you can often tell more about a jury's mindset by the questions they ask rather than the time they spend deliberating. WBZ-TV's Brandon Truitt reports.
Im watching the movie THE DEPARTED, remember that one? Its a great movie about Massachusetts troopers working for gangsters. Out of all the USA cities, the director chose Boston. Now i understand why , state Police have reputation for corruption!
I don’t think so either. There’s evidence of the opposing side having done it. I think it was a drunken brawl gone wrong ending in a police cover up. Karen is by no means perfect, but she’s no murderer.
There is so much that proves her guilty! THE COPS AND FRIENDS DID NOT!!! BEAT HIM TO DEATH! THE DEFENCE BROUGHT UP CONSPERANCY, THEY JAD NOTHING ELSE'!!!! THINK ABOUT IT, IF THE DEFENCE NEVER BROUGHT CONSPERACY. TO SEE HER FREE IS SICKENING! JOHNS FAMILY IS SUFFERING AGAIN!!!!!!!😢 DEFENCE SAYING EVERYONE!!! ON THE STAND LIED!!!
Let me see, you sit in court listening to both sides and then you go back to see more of the same of what you just heard. I'm sorry but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the lies and disturbing judge to make the case a guilty verdict. The system in this case is broken.
I'm not sure what trial you were watching. But the prosecution did not show any EVIDENCE that she's guilty whatsoever. The prosecution's own witnesses have actually helped the defense, to be exact. The trooper who did the leaf blowing testified under oath that there was no TAILLIGHT pieces , Were OJO'S bidy was licated.the second witness, SERGEANT BARROS HAS testified that there was no broken pieces of her tail light that it was only cracked, the only witnesses who lied or the ones that were involved were lying so I don't know where you mind is going with guilty🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Thank God you're not on a jury. I've been on one, and I know why it's taken them too long because they probably have more not guilty, and 1 or 2 are saying guilty.
@@eileencalabro7909 I'm sorry you don't comprehend, however, what was meant is that it looks as if the judge wants a guilty verdict. Yes, I myself worked for a courthouse as a deputy circuit clerk.
The jury will realize all those house witnesses were grilled only to.get timeline help and offered up info. The parent okeefes did not testify and she called daddy for help at 1:00 AM hour. She was in ttrouble trying to run and fix things in a small town in a short period of time. The small wild animal came after death and or the tail light damage. Karen changed her story so much and drank way to much. If she had a concience she would have fessed up while in trial. She has confessed already, soo. Shes right about something. It has been much tax payer and time potentially wasted, unless some miracle of justice happens here. I dont envy the jury, but am glad they are apparenrly well invested in the task.
@@Gle7799 you've got to be a troll. Those were some of the most qualified and highly intelligent professionals I've ever seen. True experts in their fields.
12:36 Karen's phone hooked up to Johns WIFI, everyone left Albert's around 1 am. They didn't see John on the Lawn. So when did the vehicle hit him? Multiple times in the face and head?
@@justinshades6652Apparently KR had custom taillights. It comes with fists, dog teeth and shards of glass. The best part is that they even come with the ability to put itself back together 🤦🏻♀️
Thank you. I kept thinking of his trial! They tried to use his searching for representation as consciousness of guilt in that trial as well and the judge was so angry about that!
@@Veritas-inveniturin Rittenhouse case that judge was amazing. He said exactly what I’d want to hear to the prosecutor who tried to bring in consciousness of guilt re: Kyle searches for lawyer.
I don’t know why there are news segments speculating as to what the jury’s mindset is. Slow news week I guess. If anything, they’re doing their due diligence, as a jury should do when they have someone’s life in their hands.
😂 People are still simping for Darden and the mole-faced woman. Although she did make enough cash to have that mole removed. What's her name again? Oh yeah, Marsha Clark. Darden is the Fani Willis/ workplace romance every underling wants to be. 😂 Prosecutors are just Defense lawyers in training.
@@MaureenODonovan Just saying "or" you are implying reasonable doubt. The fact is the jury doesn't have a certain cause of death. To many posibilities.
@@eileencalabro7909 Exactly. Commentators are saying the jury is going over the evidence and my point is, what could they be going over since the state didn't produce evidence of her guilt, i.e. lack of evidence.
Did they ever present the blood that was found on the undercarriage of her SUV and the logs of her putting the car in reverse pressing down in the accelerator of up to 24 mph? The blood found on the undercarriage that was his blood is what did it for me
@@kathiemarie I'm sorry sounds to me you have no logic or comprehension, however, I do hope Karen is found innocent and the guilty ones will get charged with the crime that was committed inside the house.
Yeah the facts say otherwise. You need PROOF. Name ONE piece of direct evidence that John was even hit by a car! Much less her car. There is none. Laws of physics says it's impossible. Medical professionals too. What trial are you watching.
@@SavvyMuhon realizing that the police did an absolutely terrible job investigating this crime, had they went into the house at 34 Fairview Karen would be in prison!! I don’t think the theory of John being beaten in the house is plausible though considering he was 6‘2“ tall and well over 210 pounds and he had no defensive wounds?? As a matter of fact, he had no other persons DNA on his body , how does that happen if he’s attacked?? I’ve watched this entire trial and I honestly feel like Karen is the only One who could’ve committed this crime, technology (meaning her phone and her SUV) tracked her entire moves of the night of January 28 th and the early morning of January 29. Not to mention the fact that John O’Keefe’s cell phone was underneath his body from the time that Karen dropped him off in front of the house!! he never moved from that spot. I’m anxiously awaiting the verdict! I do hope Karen is held accountable though! Day after day, we’ve watched her smile and smirk & laugh with her attorneys this shows her character and the fact that she could do that right in front of John O’Keefe’s family is disturbing to say the least!
The jury has a lot to look at but the state knocked down EVERY piece of misinformation from the defense and their mouth pieces. She said she hit him. 🎤 drop
