Scarecrow: I honestly never wanted to be King, Dorothy. I have the brains for it, but not the heart. Tin Man: Well I have the heart for it. But no brain.... Lion: And I'm just the King of the forest.

Why did they cut Tin man's only line and Scarecrow's explanation of why he didn't want to be king? It makes so much more sense now why everyone's shouting at Dorothy to be the queen!

If they had the budget to have lion and tinman be co stars, I think Roger Bumpass could had been his voice and John Candy as Lion’s voice

The Scarecrow has Jack's voice and the Tin Man has a strange English accent lol.

That’s because they are only stand in voices, had the footage been used the actual voices would’ve been added in post just as the music here is only place holder and they haven’t yet added the superimposed shot of the bridge and the people walking on it

Who thinks Lyle Conway did the creature effects well? i mean he not only did this movie but also Little Shop of Horrors 1986, The Dark Crystals's Skeksis and Aughra, Dreamchild and The Blob 1988
