What is periapical abcess is present and pulp is necrotic?

My 7 yr old daughter was diagnosed of Molar incisor hypoplasia, she went through so much pain because the dental surgeon did revascularisation under Midazolam.the pain was just too much for a child.isnt there any better way to do the procedure
