Many congratulations Mark. That is one hell of a car, and looks absolutely stunning. Fair play to you for the car collection you have and enjoying them too. Health to drive.
Congratulations! I love it when somebody who has worked hard for their money gets to spend it. I don’t know the presenter but I see this is the case. Congratulations!
Congrats wonderful car - have 2 friends with them and they are amongst their favourite Porsches - goodwood used a yellow GT4 RS as the safety car at 80 MM this weekend what a great choice to lead out the Le Mans GT1 cars for the twilight run
In my review of the two cars in Italy I said the GT3 was the better car, but that the GT4 RS was more fun. I already have a 997 GT3 RS 4.0 so a GT4 RS was the logical choice.
have you noticed a more “snappy feeling” of the rear end vs 992 gt3 when testing in Italy? I am waiting for my allocation but debating whether I should go for gt4 rs or last gen 991.2 gt3 rs..
Both great cars. You get less confidence in the GT4 RS as it is mid engined. The 991.2 GT3 RS is a great car but needs the Weissach package. I actually think the 991.2 GT3 is a great car in manual or PDK.
Man I discovered you through tge who I am a huge fan of,your production videos are fucking fantastic,I hope you and tom and anyone that puts so much effort into these videos get the views you deserve👍👍
Well there are only 40 registered in the UK right now, so maybe 7000 was the original plan but they have not managed to make that many. Either way, it will be pretty rare in the UK.
@888mf4 I do wonder going forward as we see more and more electric powered cars where the next generation of fun exciting sports cars will come from, will they even be fun like the GT4 rs etc
@@888mf4 Well then, thats a no no. Just thinking, I have specced a GTS something similar to this, silver, 10k fading blue stripe 25k , Gts wrote on the side, carbon , special seats with fading, like your ones and it cost me £170k in extras. The GT4 even has a carbon bonnet, so for such a special car, its an absolute bargain . Enjoy
Great looking car but your videos are very strange, sometimes the framing is off and you repeat alot of what other people say within the video, just some helpful feedback no hate
The Cameraman films what He wants not what the guy who is giving the tour of the Car wants, this is the second time I have watched this channel and the second time this cameraman has done this, not good cameraman not good! follow what the tour guy is trying to explain so we the People can see the Car!
How do these non high mileage genuine Porsche driving you tubers, podcasters brand ambassadors get to buy these rare GT cars when we genuine users have diddly chance of buying them. My Porsche history is 3x new Boxters, GT3 and 2x GT4. When I enquire these days I am treated like a pariah as I do not buy 5x Porsches per annum. Goodbye loyalty to Porsche, hope these self obsessed, unsustainable “customers” stay the course and actually at some point buy them rather than be “PR’D “ them.
This is not the response you'd expect of a genuine car enthusiast. You should be happy for me John. I have no idea how you judge someone without knowing them or their relationship with the dealer.
@@888mf4 to be fair John sounds to me like he more than qualifies as a ‘genuine car enthusiast’ having had 6 Porsche cars. Likewise, I’ve had 4 Boxsters, 3 911’s and a GT3RS that I paid significantly higher than list for. Additionally I’ve had 7 new Ferraris from the same dealership group totalling well over £2.2. Only when I cancelled my two upcoming orders with the Ferrari dealership and finally lost my rag with them did I get offered a GT3. Like John, GT3RS/GT4RS are out of the question. So unfortunately Mr 888MF when people like me who help keep the factories turning buying cars that aren’t our first choice see RU-vidrs like you getting the very special cars it really grips our sh!t. And Porsche, when you see someone cancel 2 future 911 orders I currently have sat with a dealership you may start taking notice. But then again perhaps not. Oh, and by the way, this isn’t about me me me as there are numerous other customers at the same dealership in the same boat. None of us feel entitled to the special cars and are delighted when fellow avid customers receive one but when we see where these cars are going (eg Matt Watson and a GT3RS) our future loyalty becomes a little more than questionable.
Ah relationship with dealer?? Oh my goodness if defamation law didn’t threaten me I would love to expose what I have learned about OPC Dealer Principles and customer relationships. Car Brokers buying short term guaranteed buy back deals for prominent Sports Stars motivated by volume rebates. GT Cars being guaranteed against availability of ultra rare timepieces, shared profit “flipping” being facilitated, eg, how can OPC Hull be offering an “83 Miler” GT4RS at £000’s over list, right now. The whole Porsche OPC and allocation system has become so overtly corrupt and smelly we genuine high mileage drivers/users are being alienated and sidelined. Lucky you if you have a squeaky clean and genuine “relationship” with your dealer, you will be in a distinct minority. Your you tube performance creates doubt in my mind, yes I am bitter and twisted but experienced and pragmatic.
@@johnswain6485 I have a very good relationship with Porsche East London, which goes back a long time. I am not going to go into any more detail than that as it is private. However, there is no reason for you to be bitter towards me just because I run a RU-vid channel reviewing cars. If you think that the dealer gave me an allocation only because I run a RU-vid channel you are completely wrong.
@@funkychucker Porsche are no different to Ferrari. Limited Edition or Limited Production models go to preferred clients. I have owned a Porsche for over 25 years and since around 2012 I have had 3 - 4 in my collection at any one time. Back in 2014 I actually had a 964 Speedster, 964 Turbo 3.6 and two 997 GT3 RS 4.0 in my garage. So please don't try to suggest I am not worthy of a Limited Production model. The fact that I run a RU-vid channel has nothing to do with it. Although I know that's what you would like to believe.
