I absolutely loved hearing your origin story!!!! You two give me such hope. My dream job would be to have a full time crafting business with my sister! We do craft fairs all fall up until Christmas and do fairly well, but I would love to give up my full time nursing job to do sublimation full time and eventually buy a laser to branch out into that niche!

You are really the only channel that I go to on purpose. I have had lasers since 2013 mostly as a hobby. Now I am looking at maybe monetizing this activity as I get closer to retirement. Beautiful story. I always enjoy watching your videos. I think some time ago, i watched a video of you guys putting resin on a tumbler. You were using a torch to pop bubbles and set it on fire. Hello! Congratulations on 100k subscribers! 🎉 My husband and I just discovered you guys a couple of weeks ago. You have some pretty cool videos. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. We have been trying to research laser engraver/cutter machines. However, in this video you mentioned that you also had a cnc machine when you were starting out. If you had the choice now, which type of machine would you get - a laser machine or a cnc machine and why? Is there a risk of fire with a cnc machine as there is with a laser? Which CNC machines would you recommend? Which laser machines would you recommend? We have already researched the F1 and they don't have replacement parts for it. We need to get a machine that has replacement parts available either under warranty or by purchasing after the warranty expires. Thank you very much. We would appreciate any advice you can give us.
Hi Linda! Thanks for joining our community! We appreciate the support! We would highly recommend a laser over a CNC machine. I wouldn't say there's a risk of fire with a CNC machine, but we had a LOT of challenges with it its SO loud and you can't use it indoors. As for fire, you never want to leave either of them unattended. We would recommend the xTool S1 as a great starter, desktop laser. I think most laser companies don't expect the user to do much replacing, I think most of them go with the policy of return and replace with a refurbished machine.
