A day in the life of a British truck driver doing a bit of local work in the south west but there are a few interesting things to tell you about the future..... @OnceDrivenForeverSmitten | once driven forever smitten
The best 2 series on the box this year is Clarkson’s Farm and Jemma’s Weekly Journal!! What an infectious person I am addicted to each weeks post. Excellent editing very talented Lady
Hi Jemma. I just recently discovered your channel and I am now a big fan! I live in North Devon and I love to see the scenery of the South West in your videos. I must say that I enjoy your editing of your videos and the high quality of the pics. I have worked in television for 30 years as an engineer, and I do appreciate good work. Keep going, it is really fantastic to watch. I look forward to the next video. You are quite impressive in getting these videos and driving. I don’t think people realise how much work goes into making a video.
Thank you so much! Yes we are lucky to live in such a beautiful place☺️ it means a lot coming from and expert the the field and yes you’re right it takes a lot of time. It’s made me realise why films and tv shows take so long to make. ☺️
Just found this channel, and what a breath of fresh air 😊 I’m from the southwest originally so it’s great to see some of the sites and scenery you traverse on a daily basis 👍 you’re a proper ‘pro, and a great credit to Wain’s, I hope they’re looking after you for all this positive publicity! 😉
Discovered your channel and I’m loving it! I’m a contract window cleaner and have contracts with transport firms.Always fancied hgv driving but I’m 60 now so too old to start. Keep the vlogs coming as I love the content. Cheers Adam 👍
Stumbled across your channel and subscribed. Earlier in my career I was a Transport Manager and it’s like winding back the clock watching your vids. Very impressed with what you do and especially how clean you keep your cab. 👏👏
I cannot wait to see your Scania 500S in the truck 🚛🚚 and driver magazine next month Jemma and thanks again for your road 🛣️ videos and take care this week.
It’s a pleasure to watch your videos Jemma, you’re always so positive and cheery, you make me feel happier just watching you. I love your accent as well.
Hey Jemma, I would like to see more of your reversing maneuvers as you could teach a few truckers lol, but you are so adaptable in what ever and wherever you get a load of grain. It's nice to see you on the open roads and also cool to see you in country lanes, such a cam driver you are, keep it going and stay safe behind the wheel.
High Jemma.I love watching you on RU-vid. My late father was a truck driver years ago, and I sometimes went out on the road with him ,which was great fun. It's great to see more lady truckers on the road. I will look out for the magazine article . Be safe.❤
@Jemma Warren Hi jemma , my late father drove for Longton transport, which used to be in Tetbury in the days of the Bedford TK and TL . Your scania makes the bedfords looke like a van.😆
Hi jemma I take my hat off to you what you do is hard work I should know I did it for many years and it's great to see more ladies taking up the profession well done and keep the videos coming.
I was 18 before I found out Portland Bill wasn’t a proper bloke! Mind you, I was 7 before I found out hedgehogs weren’t all flat! Another great video girl…
Jemma you are a brilliant scania driver I am 70 now I was a commercial vehicle engineer trucks and coaches working on scania for about 45 years and i am scania mad, series 110,111,2,3,4 v8, the best,is your truck a straight six.i have even got Scania on the rear bumper of our car, All the best dodger (roger) They are even fitting D13 scania engines in the life boats
Interesting and entertaining video, as always Jemma. I presume you have to unload into the pit using the grain sock because it would come out too quick for the pit to cope if it was straight out of the tailboard. Retired now, but used to do a lot of farm deliveries with a wagon and drag with Moffett on the back, all self load and offload so no waiting around for others. Still miss it a bit, but I can re-live it through videos like yours. Thanks for posting them.
Thank you. Yes it is dual purpose really. It directs the grain neatly in to the pit instead of making a mess and it also reduces dust. I think there is something nice about farm work ☺️
Another great video Jem, can you believe how fast your channel has grown, it's great, My Mrs was the one that you thought was your friend from school Lisa Curry, I watch you and Olly so it's great when you both meet up 👌👍 keep on truckin Jem 💨💨
Hi Jemma enjoyable vid as always, being from Oxfordshire it was nice seeing the roads I drive on a regular basis I see you went through Bladon towards Long Hanborough before turning towards the A40 and Eynsham, if you didn't know which you probably do but Winston Churchill is buried in a family grave at Bladon church as he was born at Blenheim Palace and is distantly related to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and Diana Princess of Wales, also the food looked nice it's certainly something I'd make for myself.
Nice video 🤠 I have the footage from my trip last weekend to edit tomorrow, hopefully it'll be posted tomorrow. Got loads for the 460R as well. Need to work out how to log into the T&D RU-vid channel for that 🤔😆
Enjoyed that as usual, great video. Never seen that combo before, baked beans and rice, hope tasted good. Keep up the good work Jemma. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Love how you answer the phone with ‘aw rite’ 😂😂. You need to eat well and look after your health young lady! And yes, I’ll take back the suggestion of your own chef channel. 😂😂😂😂keep up the great work Mrs! 💪👍🏴🍕
Next time your going to the Banbury site, shout me up, I do some electrical maintenance there a couple of times a week. (PS there is a shower on site ) Drive safe
Really enjoy your channel, you seem like you enjoy your job I drive a scania 320 crane truck, but would prefer more power.Keep up the great work and take care😁👍
Great to see how hard you work, those bridges are tight spaces a great test of your driving skilsl getting to these small farms are tricky most drivers couldn't manage and all the rules concerning the stuff you load make your skills even more impressive
Aye that's a proper cowboys dinner that innit 😂 needs must though the supply cupboard can have it's delights... I hope you get your scabby rim replaced back too.. Unless you don't keep the same tralier at your place? Smashed it again on the video 💯✌️
Hi Jemma could I ask a favour any chance of doin a video showing how to use a digital tachograph please from setting it up to putting it into different modes such as poa etc thanks
Oh Jemma, that was a good vlog, perhaps a she-wee might be a good bit of kit? I find the Honiton Cullompton road tight to drive in the Land Rover, must be so much worse in the truck. You take care and thank you.
all ways keep a tin of BIG soup in the truck it is a god save if you are stuck in the middle of no ware well good vid and good tips hope the young truckers take note good luck keep safe
Have you thought about the Ration Packs Jemma , all different Menus from all the Forces over the World, alot of Hikers, Campers use them ,has a Snacks,a Main, and a Sweet with drinks Condiments etc all in one pack
Could you put your milage on the bottom of the screen. Love to not not only where your going, but love to know how far. Love seeing the videos, keep safe.
"Big things to come" I say it sounds a bit rude, are you going to be doing "carry on trucking" lol. All the best, really enjoy watching your vids.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
The scenic route back from Banbury ♥ thanks for the route numbering. I've had some epic (car) drives through the Cotswolds. What a considerate farmer. How big was the bucket ? How close to the weight limit do you load ? Really enjoy your vids, thanks 👌
Great video again Jemma, as always love to watch how well you reverse the truck! Bit of a personal question, but isn't there room to use a 'porta-potty' type thing in the cab like some people have in camper van conversions? Might save wet socks...!! 😅
Truck and Driver hay going up in the trucking industry im pleased for you so make the most of it you work hard and the truck always looks good and i no it's hard keeping in your sort of work 👍 and yes you should always have some sort of food in cab yes very good about wet socks 😂
Always amazes me that anyone travelling any distance in any vehicle does not have food and water supplies with them given how often our road network grinds to a halt. That rice and beans combination is a similar combination I have in my winter emergency grab bag in the car although mine uses my little stove rather than a microwave - food of champions! (for the avoidance of allegations of crimes against humanity, I only eat the combination if I am travelling alone though!)
